Metaknight can grab, jump grab release and regrab himself. I thought it was funny, if people start doing this, MK dittos will never be the same.

No, he can't; Infinity made a thread about this a while back.

In order for a jump-break to happen, the feet of the person being grabbed can't be touching the ground.

This doesn't happen in MK dittos. Thank god.

As long as the opposing Meta doesn't try to manually jump out of your grab, he cannot be chaingrabbed. Meta cannot force another Meta to jump break, because Meta is too short. Bowser and Yoshi can do it though, but they're weird like that.

No not exactly, if the other mk doesnt mash out youll jump break.

Seibrik did this to me alot in mk dittos.

I dont believe thats necessarily true

I did some testing. It seems the only way that MK can jump-break from another MK's grab is if he inputs a jump while being grabbed.

Most people that mash buttons like crazy will sometimes jump-break.

EDIT: Here's the old thread: http://www.smashboards.com/showthread.php?t=197710

Please don't bump the thread in the link above. I feel like I shouldn't have to ask that but I've seen some legendary necro-bumps here in the MK boards.

If Metaknight grabs Metaknight while he's in the air (i.e shield grabbing a glide attack) then it will force a jump break. I don't know why exactly, all I know is it works.

That's the case with any character.

If any character grabs someone over a ledge or over the edge of a platform, that character will auto-jump release.

That's not what he meant. He said that if your opponent is in the air when he gets grabbed (even if his feet aren't dangling over an edge) he will jump break.

You can try this if you notice your opponent mashes the controller to break out. They can avoid it if they learn you like to do it, and it only does a wee bit of damage anyway.
