Jigglypuff for Brawl - AKA the Jiggernaught!

Ok seriously I have never seen a Jigglypuff thread in like the last 5 pages so I don't see anything wrong by making this.

I'm sick and tired of those n00bs who don't think Jigglypuff will be part of Brawl. He was part of the original 12 so he won't be removed.

Do you think that Nintendo will confirm Jigglypuff soon or after it comes out since its a secret character. But then again Jigglypuff is the simplist secret character and also appeared in the Intro of SSBM.

Also, seeing that Jigglypuff's N64 playing style is completly different from his SSBM playing style do you think that his SSBB will be much different?

ur right, maybe Jigglypuff was added in SSB64 cuz that temporal Pokemon anime popularity, but now she's part of smash, I think she will stay in Brawl, as the first unlockable character again XD

It was this way, kinda, in both games, although besides that they are nothing alike.

I think he will be in, probably as the first character you earn ala tradition..

Well I main Jigglypuff in SSBM and SSB64 and they are different.

Jiggly in SSBM uses the WOP and U throw rest, and is mostly in the air.

Jiggly in SSB uses the drill, u tilt, and smashes.

Jiggly in SSB:

Rest is weaker but easier to preform
WOP is not as effective
Jump is worse
Drill combos
throws and smashes stronger and quicker
Can't sing cancel

I mean if there is that much of a difference do you think he will have a different playing style in SSBB?

3. jigglypuff is basically japan's SECOND FAVORITE POKEMON second only to pikachu. There's now way sakurai wouldn't listen to japana's pokemon popularity.
However i do believe she will have a new moveset, maybe singing out notes that hit the opponent...i also think she'll earn a 3rd jump

Doesn't she already have like 5 jumps as it is? An upB recovery would be nice, but she doesn't need it nearly as badly as Yoshi did. Especially with her infinite pound recovery thing. Though, I'm no Jiggernaught player.

It weirds me out when people refer to Jigglypuff as "he". I know, I know, any pokemon can be either gender (with exceptions) but Jigglypuff is so girly that it's just instinctive for me to call it a "she".

I have to say when people say "with certainty" that Jigglypuff won't return it kind of pisses me off.

I'm no longer the Pokemon fan I was eight years ago, but hey, Jigglypuff is a fun character to use. Jiggly needs to make it back, if not only for Jiggly's unique moveset, but also for how fun Jigglypuff is to play.

A- Jiggs goes up on a stage and sings. Making everybody fall asleep, giving Jiggernaught the chance to whack them all around for about 10-30 seconds.

OR

B- Jiggs makes everyone sleep. She gets mad and draws marker on their face like in the Anime.

(P.S. B might not have much damage, but imagine the humiliation mentally!)

I could see Jigg Daddy being a starter, but I wouldn't really count on it.

And I see Jigglypuff more as a she, since Jiggs has been voiced by a woman.

Recovery is delightfully broken. But it's okay because of her lightness.

Ever seen Jigglypuff's Level 3 special in Mugen? I bet you thats Jiggly's final smash.

Jiggly pulls a mic out and starts singing and a spotlight appears, everybody falls asleep. He pools out a marker, and starts waving the marker like mad, litterally killing the opponents HP. I think the attack will be auto but you moving would be manual, like a if you had a Hammer and everybody else was asleep.

Also Jigglypuff's level 3 special when he has less than 200HP left Jigglypuff summons the Ancient Jigglypuff(Bigglypuff) and at your command you can make Bigglypuff do one super marker slam on everybody.

I'm no Jiggs expert, but seriously. Such a fun character. I can usually land Rest, and none of my friends are very good at fighting jiggs. Jiggs is very unconventional.

I really doubt the little puffball'll leave. I mean, seriously.

I really don't see how Jiggs couldn't be in Brawl. It's too much tradition. She's far too original compared to the rest of the Smash cast.

I could see an awesome FS using Hyper Voice. Three-four times the range of Sing while Jiggs remains invincible. And when the song is over and the foes she's trapped in her web remain unconscious...BAM!

Well with Metaknight being added and being another puff, I feel that three puffs are a little too redundant. I think Metaknight will become the aerial profecient puff, while Kirby will be upgraded and become more of the ground powered puff.

Jiggs replaced Pit in the first game. And there were rumors of her and Ness getting the boot in Melee. So maybe that now Pit is in, Jiggs will be gone.

And Sakurai did mention that Kirby was the only character that did not change much in design. Yes, neither did Pikachu really, but Sakurai also said that Kirby would still be pink, soft, and round. Well, that describes Jiggs. So if Kirby is the only pink, soft, and round character not to change much it looks grim for Jiggs.

but this is another case of inferring to much from too little...
thats like saying that Sakurai's update about the cracker launcher implies that Sonic will be in (im gonna guess that 2 or 3 Sonic lovers will understand that reference)...
it has to be taken with a serious grain of salt...

I think that last line pretty much killed all of your creditablity. Anyway,all of the original 12 will be in.(I think it's safe to say that the 12 will be in everyone Smash Game)

Anyway,I hope add some detail to her,making her pink slightly darker,and I hope she remains fairly unchanged(minus some physics adjustments here and there)

You know if they took out characters like this it would really piss me off.

Even Jigglypuff. Jigglypuff is a fun character, and it would be stupid of Sakurai to remove him. It would also be extremely stupid of him to remove Luigi.

Hell, I might not even buy the game if he took out characters like that. Remove Dr. Mario and Pichu, yes, but not the respectful unique characters like Luigi and Jigglypuff! There's so much potential with Luigi if he seems "too Mario-like."
