I think XiF also mentioned that ledge drop nair pretty much ***** Falco's upB if they're coming from below, leading to very low percent kills.

Nice and comprehensive guide though.

Not sure if it's common knowledge, but Peach (and presumably other characters) can grab spacies in the middle of their illusion if she's in their path and the timing is just right. Probably not useful but I accidentally did it to a friend once and we were both stunned.

Azen does that a lot, at least when I watched his Peach play at MLG Philly 2005 or something. Man I'm old

If spacies are dumb enough to illusion right onto the stage (and most good people never ever do this :( ) in order for you to get the grab, than there's an easier punish- FC nair. Grab would lead to fthrow i guess? But if they aren't at high percent its not that good a choice.

Honestly, the reward for the grab just isnt high enough to ever replace the FC nair with a grab. Nice thinking though

If they do illusion on to the edge why not charge up a Fsmash? you have a good chance vs a falco to get a racket or club which even at low % would knock the falco out of range to recover. Now vs Fox is a lil different you could hit him with a rackey or club but at low% they could still recover so if your timing is good float off edge and nair or bair ( also a fair but its a lil harder) Now if you hit either one of them with the pan they will fly upwards so depending on % you would full jump nair or shorthop nair.

Something teczero told me was in they try to illusion or even firefox on to the stage upsmash then nair or grab pick you poison

Well thats my 2 cents for now

I'll take a potato chip....and eat it!!!
How is tht the worst idea ever? I've seen VaNz do it. I've seen Tec0 do it. I've done it, myself. It's situational like a lot of things Peach does outside of her usual bag of tricks.

I think I've said all I'd prefer to say on that subject though.

*waits for inevitable flame*

Yea...cuz I see peach's pulling off tons of upsmash edgegaurds. That is like the worse idea ever.
I dont know if your being funny or not but its just some things you can do. its just a different option you dont always have to do them same edge guarding everytime someone is off the edge cuz ppl will see that and mix it up and catch you off guard.

If you dont like my idea at least say you dont like it in a nice way no need to be rude.

Who actually uses Peach's Ftilt in a chaingrab? That's gotta be one of the worst ideas ever
remember Jfox you said the filt was useless.

i dont care what you think but if you disagree with something i post do it nicely next time show us that you have some sense.

How does a rising doublejump fair work? Would the instant you initiate the fair cancel your double jump and make it more of an arcing and/or falling fair?

Woah, people take things too seriously. Its just a forum guys.

There are better options than upsmash edgeguard. Its not about mixing it up, its about doing what works. There aren't any points for the most stylish edgeguard. These edgeguards I've listed are the best thing to do in each scenario because you do them as a reaction to your opponent's choice of recovery. Once they have committed to a recovery option, there is no need for a mixup.

In every instance where u could use upsmash, a better move is available. I'm not going to bother listing them, they are already on the first post of the page.

Pink Shinobi has devised the perfect and most flawless edgeguard against Fox and Falco. Float facing the stage just above the edge and just wait. If they aim for the ledge, fastfall and edgehog. If they come up, take your pick. Simple and effective, yet the reaction time on figuring whether they go diagonal up onto the stage or straight to the ledge is pretty tight.
