I think Hydro Kirby has 1,500 posts of flames, and 112 posts of actually information.

Hiro, you can even try moving your right hand so your pointer finger is on b and your middle finger is on jump and tap away. Once you hit em with the shine, you can just tap the c-stick back up or down depending on their damage, and move your hand back during the small time window hitting them with that aerial gets you.

Well, Multishines are pointless unless you can

A) Do like 2 or 3 in game and go on playing normally
B)Do enough multishines to break a shield every time-in game.

So I would suggest if you really want to learn them (there's so much more important techskill) go to a stage that has something you can damage (like brinstar) to get the proper timing down, or just do it on a CPU that is invisible because of a starman.

You can also do multishines with the control stick, but you look really ******** to other people if you do it that way. -_-

I highly recommend perfecting every other tech skill first, though.

JC Shines are fairly useful depending on how you use it. In my opinion, JC Shining to break someone's shield is utterly stupid. One reason is because each shine pushes the opponent's shield away so all he would need to do is wait for right spacing for a shield grab. A good option is to learn how to do multiple shines while being able to grab out of the shine. Right now, I usually do 2 consecutive shines and if my opponent is still shielding, I'll just grab him out of my 2nd shine. In addition, this is a good method of countering people who crouch cancel shines.

Also, you don't always need to use the Y button. Sure, the Y button IS closer to B, but for me the X button is WAY more comfortable.

More than 3 is useless unless they are against a wall, then as many as you can do is useful for breaking a shield, 3 is good for shield pressure and CC's and stuff tho. Vary up when you practice do SHFFL ariels to 1 2 and 3 shines then continue pillaring and stuff. The mix up is good. Just learn the timing from the slide from y to b and pay special attention to the timing and after that its just practice. JC shines r ez. lol

how do you manage? how can you switch from b to x fast enough? thats hard as fvck. you do it with just your thumb? i want o use the jc-shines like two in a row on a sheil and them jump out and continue to pillar. not use to finger or something....peace

Heh, with lots of practice, moving from X to B is as easy as wavedashing. You should first try to Short Hop Double Laser with Fox first. That took me a week with like an hour each day. Then the Falco JC Shining just kicked in by itself.

his method grew on me. i always lasered with x -> B anyways so i've already done the motion about... well as many times as i have lasered. i would recommend JC shining with whatever button you laser with, because thats probably the one you're more comfortable with anyways. don't think of it as going from one button the other, slide your thumb from x -> B. don't worry about hitting A, hit it actually if it means going faster. the aerial won't come out as long as you hit B.

interesting, i do happen to use x btw. but it just seemed to far away for jc shines. but i didnt even realize you could still just slide your finger and hit a cuz as long as you hit b you'll do it. i'll start practicing using x...peace

Falco has a weird timing, I can can do like 5 or 6 without sliding my thumb from X to B but I don't do any when I slide my thumb (lol) maybe because I do it too fast :ohwell: . With fox is kinda easier, you don't have to worry about timing it right, just slide your thumb from x to b like crazy.

JC shines are easy (or not too hard) when you have the speed it takes.

I agree that Falco does have fairly weird timing (compared to Fox at least), but it's not too incredibly tricky to get down.
Just takes a bit of practice. =)

either sliding your thumb really quick or having your thumb on the B and Y button that way u just rock the thumb back and forth. whichever one's more comfortable.

Just a note while practicing Fox SHDL, try not to tense up your hands. Your hands should be relaxed and comfortable.
