i really don't understand the whole notion that because player A can beat player B, and player B can beat player C, that player A can therefore beat player C

yeah that probably holds true a lot of the time, but certain play-styles have advantages over others so it's hard to say with certainty that one player is better than another when they haven't faced off

dunno about you, but i don't know for sure if i'm better or worse than anyone i haven't played

as a solid example, judas after years of playing me can predict me like a book and if he wants can beat me whenever. yet james beats judas more often than not, and more often than not i beat james. that's just how **** goes, it's like mother****ing pokemon with charmander, bulbasaur and squirtle

computer is coming, i think my one is fine for now anyway, i had some relatively not-laggy games with REALLYFASTCAR

but saying someone who has beat players who have beat isai before you were born has more skill than you, is far from rash
When did Prince beat Isai?
I could pull a ballin and take the "before you were born" literally but I won't :troll:

also LOL Pete is the Inui of the 64 boards. We should probably replace the "Inui Logic" Smashboards meme with "Pete Logic" on these boards

Yo someone won like one match against one of Isai's secondaries out of 80, in Japanese version. They did not impress me AT ALL in 2006, although I hardly think that's relevant today.

Tacna, on the other hand, is too too legit

Also I'm not basing it off of anything I just like putting down other countries

@SK, umm re read his post please.

Also, pretty sure the important part was the Isai factor of being that good, and having been chillin' on a high level since forever ago.

1) I agree with this particular idea of top Japanese players and Prince. Pete's post is far from rash judgment.
2) I don't with Inui Logic. This weekend was a perfect example for me of how it doesn't work lol.
3) I don't like how the post suggests that Isai's play hasn't improved greatly in the past years. I think there's been a HUGE jump in skill. I think A$ said it before, but look at Isai vids from 5years ago and then recent ones. His old vids look more like the average high level player now, while his new vids are crazy Isai stuff (same way I felt about his old vids 5 years ago).

Not saying Japan hasn't improved either, but after that long it's hard to gauge. I would hate for someone to assume about my skill based on 5 years ago.

We need a world tournament where we kidnap all players to ensure attendance.

he has

he decided to not throw a party for whatever reason and is spending all his money on re-projection t.v's, taking his girlfriend away on holidays, and right now myself, him and a friend are focusing on buying/renting a house

so yeah probs not gonna happen for a while, however we're totally down for going to apex 2013 (or an earlier major if it's big enough), and who knows maybe he'll sponsor an international dude too.

server. now.
my bad i went to bed after my last post xD

god i miss the xD face

not sure how that's "pulling a ballin", unless you mean to say that "someone who beat players that beat isai before you were born is better than you" is a vacuous truth, in which case bravo sir.

just curious, who is Inui and what's the origin of "Inui Logic"?

Also I'm not basing it off of anything I just like putting down other countries

^^reeeeeally bro...
lol, but seriously:
because player A can beat player B, and player B can beat player C, that player A can therefore beat player C
^^This is "Inui logic"

Inui is a melee player that would make assumptions like that. At one point people just started calling this... flawed way of thinking "Inui Logic."

Like: Kage beat Mango when he was the best and some people went, "Kage must be the best in the world." Doesn't really work like that lol.

Pretty sure Inui is primarily a Brawl player. But yeah what Tank said.

@Tank telling me to reread - oops. But yeah Pete logic, so still dumb.

Faust is solo mic'd for this one. As much as I hate anything Mario in this game, Faust has a good one. This Pika player wasnt too bad either. That 2nd game was mean

Cool but very short DK video. Nair into Bdown yo. 3/18
http://www.nicovideo.jp/watch/sm17281887

More from the same player. ダーク appears to be what he goes by.
http://www.nicovideo.jp/watch/sm16736861 - DK on Falcon
http://www.nicovideo.jp/watch/sm16695759 - 2 min DK video. Interesting how he let the combo drop on purpose on the platforms. One of those "teching wont matter cause im going to hit you afterwards anyway cause of my annoying Uair coverage" situations.

I need to write names both in English/Japanese in a document or something so I dont have to dig around wondering who someone is.
Maybe ill just edit the first post with name translations instead.
