I tried connecting to the internet without my router

my IP was different and my 3 frame lag spikes with boom practically disappeared. my 5 frame lag spikes in galaxy were mostly gone too.

so I hooked back my router and set my router settings to static IP and made it use that IP

summary: I can probably stream with boom now, though I haven't tried yet. Also might get 1 frame less with people that I used to get 1 frames less with like gav MATTS! and idk who else

edit: just tried with moyashi and we can get 4 frames again. I tried with craigg, but we can't get 6 like we used to. Mostly successes so far

That's awesome. Get a new router that doesn't cause those problems. Hopefully we can play at 3 frames instead of 4 now.

My IP changes every time I restart my router, so the concept is probably the same, which may be why your IP changed.

anyways it stopped letting me connect to the internet with the good IP lol. now I'm back on the old one -___-

figured out how to go back on it >__> dunno how long it'll last this time
