EDIT: Unless Isaac's inclusion in Smash warrants a big promotion for his series as well as a GS4 entry for the 3DS that everybody's gonna buy, which would put Alex back in the spotlight and make him even more badass than he was in GS2, causing him to become immensely Popular like he deserves to be. Then boom, he outweights Ridley and K.Rool in the Smash 5 ballot day.

I still want Ridley and K. Rool before Isaac, and I'm pretty sure Isaac's popularity won't boom like that. Inkling was immensely popular after Splatoon released, I'm pretty sure they still weren't more wanted than King K. Rool.

Someone in this very thread created a fake Mii Swordsman Isaac as a joke. I don't know if its related to the one in that pic or not. At no point was an Isaac "Mii Swordfighter" actually leaked with a picture, though there was a fake Direct leak that mention an Isaac Mii Sword fighter (quickly debunked because it said there'd be a Direct on the first, and that the Dr. Mario stage was real).
In fact, I responded to that leak telling everyone here not to believe it because I found out it was fake as I was in contact (somewhat) with someone who knew who created it, though I can't say who. I didn't say this at the time, though.

And they said they had some ideas, plus that was after E3 they said they had new ideas for it. I have a feeling that maybe, they decided that they wanted to give Isaac a hybrid design like what with happened for Roy.

Original for reference.Okay so hopefully this is something we'll never see in the main game (because we want Isaac to be playable!), but I wanted to modify my Isaac mii and make him look more Isaac-y. It ended up looking imo a lot better than I expected it to so I thought I'd share it with you guys.

Considering that Felix's combat level is 5 when you get him in The Lost Age, even when he has been with Saturos for quite some time, I think that is indeed what he did.Another day, another comic:

Speaking of Oddysey, I think it might make a good smash attack. It could draw people in like Megaman's or Zelda's and end with a sword lunge. If not Odyssey than Ragnarok might work well too.

I have a "counter" to this. The Fire Emblem characters.There has been a lot of discussion on his Final Smash already, and I've already given my opinion on that matter, but it can't hurt to do it again, yes? At least it will change a little from all the speculations about the Ballot.
So, I totally agree with you: There's not a lot of ways to include Summons to Isaac moveset. A lvl 1 Summon (Venus) could work for a B Move, but the thing is: People not knowing Golden Sun won't be able to tell the difference between a normal Djinn move and the Summon. So, it would make more sense to use a higher level Summon as his Final Smash.
Let's suppose they go the 100% Venus route with Isaac to avoid comparisons with Robin: They can use Ramses, Cybele or Judgment. Even Ramses would seem too powerful for a B Move. Thus, if they want to include a Summon, they would have to use it as a Final Smash. And if it's a Final Smash, there's no reason not to use the most powerful one, meaning: Judgment, because of its badassery in terms of appearance and because litterally nuking foes is cool.
I discarded Summons from The Lost Age for the sake of keeping it more related to Isaac in The Broken Seal.
Other logical options: Megiddo / Gaïa Blade, Ragnarok or another powerful Venus Psynergy...
Those are fine, that's not the problem. But in Golden Sun, they can be used pretty much every turn.
That makes them a little less special than Summons, and a Final Smash should be as special as possible, in my opinion.
Don't hesitate to tell me what do you think about that, everyone (especially people who were not yet on this thread the last time we talked about that)!
All 5 of their final smashes are regular ass abilities that work EXACTLY like Megiddo in their games, with the exception of Robin's, which usually activates every turn if the Tactician (who is named Robin in smash) is paired with Chrom. In fact, Roy's final smash is literally his basic attack animation, regardless of if he gets a critical hit or not, when he wields the Binding Blade in game. Ike's Great Aether ability is more accurate to his actual Aether ability in game, which is a fusion of Sol (what his Aether up smash looks more like) and Luna, a skill which sets the sword on blue fire, and Aether works exactly like Megiddo does, an attack that has a chance of happening each turn almost like a critical.
Fun fact
When Palutena says "[Chrom] doesn't even have an Aether recovery move like Ike", she's actually DEAD WRONG, and almost amusingly so to the point I think Nintendo intentionally made her wrong.
Chrom and Lucina are in fact the only two other characters in the series to learn Aether

They use it very differently to Ike however which was what Sakurai meant. Chrom and Lucina don't toss the sword into the air and bring it down. They lunge twice instead.
Any other potential daughter for Chrom can also learn Aether as well as F!Morgan with Lucina as the mother.
Honestly though Sakurai's reasoning for Chrom was poor. It's almost like in Sakurai's world Chrom doesn't promote and gain usage of Lances and a Shield.

I would love if they incorporated the "giant sword" (ragnarok/odyssey) as his tilt movesets or aerials in a downgraded manner from the game if they wanted to avoid using regular sword attacks for Isaac - this could include the abilities from special weapons like megido, titan blade, etc.
I agree with your later post that Judgement or any other venus-based summon should be Isaac's final smash. It's really the only ideal way to include summons into his moveset.
It could go either way. Alex is definitely the core villain but he's also somewhat of a minor presence throughout the game. Unless if they make him the big bad in GS4 I don't think they would include him though. Either Felix or Garet/Jenna seem more likely to me, just because Sakurai tends to prioritize allies over villains (Falco over Wolf, Diddy over K. Rool, etc). Felix is the second most iconic character and can also be seen as an antagonist to the series in some capacity. Garet and Jenna are also important but I don't think SSB needs more fire users.
Funny enough, despite Splatoon's success I never really understood the Inkling popularity aside from being new. But yesterday I was babysitting a family friend's son (probably about 7-10 years old) and he was playing Super Smash bros for the first time. He wanted to play as Ganondorf and Ryu but when he looked at my miis and saw my version of the Inklings he got so excited and played as them the whole time instead, despite just being miis. He even made the ink splattering sound every time he attacked. It made me realize how successful Nintendo really was with advertising Splatoon because he doesn't even own a Wii U. So I'm all for them including Inklings as DLC now after witnessing that.

In case you guys ever need to debunk it against the trolls (although it should obviously be fake anyways because the mii fighters are always posed a specific way in their official art). Seriously never would have shared that if I knew the K. Rool thing was going to happen haha (or I probably would have because I can be a **** like that lol)
Aaaaaand if you guys wanted to know why I made it, it's because I made renders of all my mains & faves (with alt colours) that I was going to put in my sig, but it didn't look good when shrunk down to signature size so I didn't bother using it. I made the Isaac mii as a placeholder in the hopes of being able to add Isaac there instead when he hopefully got revealed

I just like the idea of Alex I guess. Another Venus Psynergy user would be okay but there are other Psynergys (No one's really used water in the game to the way that I'd like them to use it).
Inkling is popular because Splatoon is a really ****ing good game. No one really supports a character who's new for that sole reason. When Splatoon announced at E3 2014 the gameplay looked awesome which is why I wanted Inkling in Smash immediately.

Ugh I was hyped for Splatoon for the entire year since E3 2014, until they revealed the price tag. I just can't justify that price ($70 + about $10 in tax in Canada). I said I would wait until all the updates released before considering it but even then I'm thinking I'll try and get it used for $45-50 (the cost for it in Europe with conversion to Canadian dollars). And then I'm afraid online is going to be a lot less active by the time I get it. Seriously if they made it the same price as Europe and Japan I would have gotten in day 1.

There's still a metric bucket ton of people who play Splatoon. Don't worry. You'll find games. And after the August 5th/6th Update? There's only going to be more. Folks who got level 20 and A+ early on and set the game down will come back with the new level 50 level cap, S+ rank, and custom lobbies with your friends.

Talking about Ragnarok and Oddyesy, I thought it would be similar to Ikes eruption. Isaac would have a Psynergy sword/s and could charge them up to slam them into the ground.

Yeah. I did get it a bit late, but we got it. I even responded to it on twitter.
Seriously, everyone knows its at least Golden Sun by this point, and most likely Isaac. I really think they're going to give him a hybrid design, though. My guess is beardless adult Isaac. Perhaps with the scarf back again, too.
