Looks like there's nothing we can do about it then?
And Dark Dawn haters will have a hearty feast over this, like usual :( :( :( :( :( :( :( :( :( :( :(
.A permanent loss, it's an inevitable vicious cycle (unless someone can convince me otherwise).

This is a place for positive thoughts, people. We're here to cheer for Isaac. Yes, we hoped he was coming. We also knew that it was a long shot. There's still the ballot, and we have no feedback from that yet. Stay positive!

I think Blast Ball is part of the spin-off... but if not it wasn't revealed during the Direct.

And neither was HW 3DS due to the leak... and even if we count it... it's still not a new game, it's a port.
Its technically a new game. And its not releasing until 2016; we're probably getting quite a few new characters in the game later on. Its got all DLC characters, but the characters are transferable to Wii U last we saw (wasn't confirmed in the Digital Event). And the Wii U roster is divisible by three. I think its technically a new game, even though at first look its just a port.

I think DD haters weren't expecting a new GS to be revealed in the first place.

This really doesn't do anything to Isaac's chances, it just doesn't make them any better...

Practically, the only game that caught me by surprise was the Mario & Luigi x Paper Mario Cross Over game (in a good way that is).

Seems like Camelot is going the Rare/Microsoft route with Nintendo. Sports titles. Actually, I half-expected them to include Isaac in the Mario Tennis game.

Do we know ATM if it's confirmed to be developed by Camelot? I don't think so?
I certainly didn't see any kind of sign that it was Camelot, and you'd think they would have shown it, but who knows?

It's probably Camelot. iirc the last Golf game didn't reveal it was them until a little later~

I think this is the worst possible scenario for Golden Sun fans. Not only did we not get any signs of GS, we got a new Tennis game. Which is probably by Camelot. Either Camelot got help with the engine, or they hired more people FOR A MARIO TENNIS GAME. Ugh...

I'm quite positive that Camelot is developing the game, as they have developed most Mario golf and Tennis games. But remember that there were 6 sports games between Lost Age and Dark Dawn.

In anycase, it's up to us fans now to push our votes further on the Ballot.

Like, we got to take a big example from Earthbound-fanbase as they also managed to influence Nintendo even to this day with their massive efforts. So this time we gotta push pretty damn hard together.

Well... until I see some changes that clearly marks it as a new game and not just a port with a little bit of extra content I'm still going to treat it like a port...

Yeah... but by the time this one releases the cycle will probably be back at the point where there will be a new console to develop yet another Tennis and Golf game for...

I think we can all agree that the presentation was pretty underwhelming. And it sucks to know that Camelot is likely making the Mario tennis game, meaning no GS any time soon.

Well I think if it's any consolation to us, not many fanbases really got what they were hoping for in this presentation. So at least we have plenty of company. :p

By the way, did a Treehouse Live presenter really tease another dlc character earlier?

Who did get what they were looking for? Paper Mario fans?

Even they didn't get the supposed Wii U title that was coming...

Metroid Hunters fans might like the Galactic Federations Metroid game.

Star Fox fans liked the in depth analysis of Star Fox Zero.

Mario Tennis Fans will like that a new one is coming.

Mario & Luigi and Paper Mario fans will most likely be happy that a crossover is happening between their franchises.

Wii U owners and fans did not get much, whereas 3DS owners and fans got plenty.

I'm kind of on the fence with that game. I do like Mario & Luigi (although I prefer the earlier games) but recently Paper Mario has been turning me off. I really was hoping for a classic styled Paper Mario with partners.

Was it expecting too much to think there would be one announcement that really hyped me up? Was I asking for too much? I guess I was....

Wasn't expecting a new Golden Sun, but seriously? Blitzball Metroid? Animal Crossing Sims? And I thought we already had a tennis. But if this IS Camelot making this, then a HD Golden Sun could be possible.
And its still possible we could get something GS related, Codename STEAM was announced later in the week, not at the event last year.

Still waiting for this.

Play the GBA game.
Seriously, it's Golden Sun Tennis featuring Mario characters at the very send.

I just want confirmation that Mario Tennis Wii U is by Camelot, then I can cry...

Then again, I'm not sure how it can be. The game is launching this year. Not only has Camelot stated they can't do HD games, this is only a year after they did Mario Tennis: World Tour... But I have little hope otherwise...

...well they could if they re-used the 3ds engine and had help with the HD assets...

The engine would need to be rebuilt for the Wii U. Unless Nintendo added an easy way to port engines between versions.

I was already pissed off by the fact that there's no Golden Sun 4 in sight and now those of the Krystal support thread are bashing on SFZ (which was close to the only thing I loved from this Digital Event) just because there is no Krystal in that game. Like, seriously, that is straight off insanity. They became haters of their beloved franchise just because of a character absence. Disgusting. I think I'll officially stop supporting Krystal for Sm4sh from now on. Nintendo's loss at this year's E3 was demoralizing enough not to hear those fools break what's already smashed to pieces - my mood.
(sorry for the bad English)

Seriously? At which part?
It was while they were playing Star Fox. Some woman said something along the lines that there's a Smash Bros character that she can't talk about yet.

Granted I'm not sure if she said new character, but she did make it sound like it was a secret that she couldn't tell anyone. Maybe she was talking about Ryu? They're showing him off now.

Although it's pretty ridiculous if they're treating Ryu like a secret.

As I heard, she was talking about how its difficult for her to learn about new characters she can't talk about. Its possible she was specifically referring to past characters, as in, "yeah, I knew about this character a while but I couldn't say anything."

Actually no, the Krystal thread is bashing SFZ for another reason, that its basically SF 64. They want story telling (They should seriously know that Nintendo isn't the best at story telling) and new gameplay. You can keep supporting Krystal, just stay away from the thread. Support whatever character you like.

Well, I think we need to go one step further when asking for Golden Sun, now. The question is: How?
The petition never worked and I can't think of anything better. I feel like we're battling without any weapons.
Anyway, yes, we must keep fighting, just like Mother fans.

Now at least I understand why Isaac didn't make it in Smash. Of course they had to made a Wii U Mario Tennis.
Is it okay if I hate this plumber for being everywhere? I liked him like everyone else, but I'm tired to see his mustache too much, nowadays.
