Brb, starting a Banana Dee for DLC thread.
Prease take a look at this *Isaac reveal trailer*. Golden Sun 4 announced. Most hyped E3 ever.[sarcasm]
Oh my god, what a surprise, Isaac wasn't Smashified (again). xD
[/sarcasm]
@ 9Blades
Also try messaging Smashified about Banana Dee. He might very well become the next Smashified
Looks like the other conferences have gone well so far, Nintendo would really have to put a great show now. Hopefully that show includes some Golden Sun related news.
brb gotta set up my annual blood ritual for GS#Prease take a look at this *Isaac reveal trailer*. Golden Sun 4 announced. Most hyped E3 ever.
Please don't say that lol.Just over an hour until Isaac is announced as playable dlc for Smash Bros.
As much as I may love that, I think that's about as likely as a Square-Enix rep getting in Smash. It would rely on SEGA doing something intelligent with a classic franchise. Not gonna happen.Slightly random, but given that Ryu was revealed with Tekken and Virtua Fighter miis, do you think Isaac would arrive with a Shining Force mii costume?
Don't get too excited and disappoint yourself. I am hoping for someone to be revealed at E3, but I will not get my hopes up on that either.Okay, so, I don't want to be pessimistic, but if Golden Sun 4 doesn't happen this year, we'll have to keep fighting, because it won't be over. The Sun will rise again!
That being said, I keep my expectations low but I still don't want to be disppointed.
If only there was a Sonic character named Max. Then Sakurai could just ask for 'Max', and SEGA would happily oblige. As much as I may love that, I think that's about as likely as a Square-Enix rep getting in Smash. Despair. And there it is ladies and gentlemen, the reason we're not getting GS4 any time soon.
Speak for yourself.Well, that's a catastrophy. I knew we were not going to have a lot of things, and... it was worse than everything I could imagine.
Right now, I'd just like for every Nintendo fan to cover them in ****, to show how disappointed we are. At this point, we deserve all the Nintendo executives to make something to beg our pardon.
The void of this E3 for Nintendo is unbelievable.
Tri Sword Adventures is something strong imo.Not only no GS4 but almost nothing new.
Except the Metroid Spin-Off game over an actual Metroid game, a Mario and Luigi (fairly good enough), Mario Tennis (noooooo!) and Hyrule Warriors, this time on 3DS. Nothing truly hype worthy, or surprise reveals.
This E3 was not so good for Nintendo, especially when the rest of them generated extreme hype!
When did you see Fatal Frame?Speak for yourself.
There wasn't a ton of new content. But there were several completely hype things. Fans of Hunters are going to be thrilled with the new Metroid. The new 3DS Hyrule Warriors looks awesome. Paper Mario and Luigi RPG looks AWESOME. A new Fatal Frame game is great...
There was no Golden Sun, but there was a lot of great stuff.
Not on their presentation, but announced alongside it:When did you see Fatal Frame?
I feel pretty much the opposite. I think they showed off a healthy amount of new content, just not a lot of hit was exciting at all. Like all of the big franchises that people were watching for (Mario, Zelda, Metroid, etc.) got new titles, but they weren't heavy hitters... They were the kind of titles you expect at a Nintendo Direct, not E3.Speak for yourself.

I think that's what it is, this would've been decent for a normal Direct, but for the E3 Direct you do need to bring in your big gun reveals, and Nintendo really didn't do that.I feel pretty much the opposite. And PAPER MARIO. That's actually an RPG. And looks awesome.Well they played it pretty safe. There was nothing truly hype generating this year like Splatoon. As you guys said, it felt like a normal Nintendo Direct. Not like an "E3 Direct".
They mostly showed us a bit detailed view of games we already knew were coming. A detailed look at Star Fox, another look at Yoshi, a small Xenoblade X trailer. Then also a bit of Animal Crossing Home Designer.
The "new" things previously not seen was the LoZ Tri-sword, Hyrule Warriors port on 3DS, and the Metroid Spin off. Rather than showing Zelda Wii U (which they already pushed back) or making a new main Metroid title. Oh and another Mario Tennis which we did NOT want.
And another look at Persona: FE edition (that's what I call it) and FE: Fates. Decent games but nothing "mind-blowing" or anything. Hence the disappointment.
We already knew most of the games hence many people calling this year's E3 a failure for Nintendo.
7 new games.I think that's what it is, this would've been decent for a normal Direct, but for the E3 Direct you do need to bring in your big gun reveals, and Nintendo really didn't do that.
They had what... all of five new reveals across both platforms? No triple-As, all spin-offs... most releasing next year... it's not just people having gotten their hopes up too much, it was a legitimately poor showing for E3.
I'm trying to figure out what's going on. I can't figure out who developing the games, but last I heard Camelot couldn't develop HD games. So I'm not even certain this is Camelot. That said I'm sure it is... *sigh*Thanks for keeping Camelot busy for more time Nintendo, 'cause all we needed was a new sports game instead of an awesome RPG.
I think Blast Ball is part of the spin-off... but if not it wasn't revealed during the Direct.7 new games.
2 2 2 1
All Spin-Offs.
Then consider it 5 spin-offs. Even worse.I think Blast Ball is part of the spin-off... but if not it wasn't revealed during the Direct.
And neither was HW 3DS due to the leak... and even if we count it... it's still not a new game, it's a port.
