I think he's referring to the actual poll in the poll thread. Most people stopped voting on that one a while ago, Ultinarok.
On the most recent poll he's ninth. At least, last time I checked. Still pretty good for a character who hasn't had a large role in ten years, and never made it into Smash.

Could happen. They could pull a GS2 and make a totally new playable party (though Felix, Jenna, and Sheba weren't technically new - just previously unplayable), even though eventually the previous party joined them. Though I think you mean more without any of the existing characters, at all. Considering they said this was the beginning of the "main story" and they left it on a cliffhanger, that'd kind suck if they didn't conclude it. But if it's a new GS game, that's better than nothing, and I won't complain much.

Whoa... Arteen! It's been a long time! I don't know if you remember me at all. But I was very active in that topic as well. I almost entirely dropped after this forum a few months after Brawl came out, as well.
Even though I wasn't active here for Brawl, I've been supporting him since slightly after GS came out, though I didn't think he really stood a shot until after TLA and closer to Brawl. Anyway, I hope I've made a thread worthy of Isaac and GS so far.
I think there's a fair chance he might be shown before the game leaks. Either like Ike, or later on closer to the release like Olimar.And yeah, I could see not finding out about Isaac/Matthew until the game starts leaking, should he be an unlockable. We're in for quite the ride.
Ofc, but those were both starters, and I was just talking about if he was hypothetically a hidden character. If Isaac is a starter, then he'll most likely be shown before the game leaks like starters usually are, I agree. Unless the game leaks really early... but I wouldn't count on that.
"Resurrect"? The last game being released in late 2009 doesn't come off to me as being a very long time ago. At least not enough to consider it a dead series that needs to be "resurrected".

That's true. Even though it didn't do super, Nintendo still treated it like a high-profile release, which is good. Though since it didn't match the success of the first two, who knows if Nintendo will go through that amount of exposure next time. If there is a next time. In any case, having a GS character in SSB4 would only help.
Oh, 2010? Yeah... All of the years since 2007/2008 have kind of all been a big blur for me. I could have sworn it came out in 2009, although I got it after Christmas 2010. Oh well, that just makes it a sooner release!
Yeah, while it didn't bomb or anything, it unfortunately didn't even get close to matching the first two. Luckily dips in sales are hardly reason for Sakurai to exclude a notable and popular series.
