I predict Shiek will return, but with no knockback on ANY of her moves. If you want to kill somone, you have to find time to turn back into zelda.

But wouldn't separating them completely conflict with the storylines that they came from? Correct me if I'm wrong, but I thought that Sheik was a transformation of Zelda from MM, so how could they ever be exclusive from one another?

Actually its from OoT, but since when has Smash really cared about stuff like that? IIRC, Young Link never had access to fire arrows in OoT, where his design was taken from. I dunno if he ever got them in MM though

Also, Doctor Mario is Mario, and a person can't fight himself (that last restriction actually existed in older fighting games).

One reason smash is great is because Gameplay > Story. I hope they stick with that.

Right behind you with a knife.
Sheik being seperate from Zelda is a waste of space really. If Sheik were still in, but as a seperate character, would it really change the amount of Zelda playeres? No. It's just that Sheik was more popular. Now these things may have changed, but there's still no good reason to seperate them.

I have read somewhere that both sheik and Ganondorf are in the game. I remember an interview where one of the modelers remarked that both of their models had to be redesigned a little bit to satisfy sakurai. (please correct me if I'm wrong)
