Is Mewtwo who he really says he is?

In the first Pokemon movie, the first few minutes are all about Mewtwo's supposed birth. Apparently he was smart enough to know that the humans were just using him and didn't care about him at all, yet he willingly went with Giovanni and battled for him multiple times. The part about him being with Giovanni is probably true, but I don't believe he was the one who blew up the lab. Does anyone else have an idea?

Acording to the scientific logs found in the Pokémon Mansion of Cinnabar Island, Mewtwo was born of a pregnant Mew whose embryo had been tampered with and its DNA had been repetitivey spliced. It was held and studied in the mansion where the scientists, including Blaine and Dr. Fuji (now known as Mr. Fuji), performed horrific gene-splicing experiments that made it vicious and extremely powerful. It eventually broke free of the Mansion (destroying it in the process) and fled to the Unknown Dungeon. There, the player may capture it after beating the Elite Four.

If the logs in Cinnabar Mansion said that he destroyed it, it means that humans who witnessed it claim that he did so. Since the Anime mostly aligns with the games, I can't imagine that Mewtwo was lying.

And yes, I am going to use that image every time I find something with evidence contradicting it.

Yep, thats a 10 4, Gimpy hates Brawl Bowser big time, mostly because he can't be unique with him anymore.

Something you all should think of, Any dark pokemon would beat Mewtwo if he didn't have Shadowball, since his barriers and psychic attacks are useless. (Or a dark human, C'mon, all the dark moves are thief/Dirty fighting moves >.>)
