is lucas broken????

many people say he is but im not sure
as a lucas main i think it takes skill to play lucas.
not to sound cocky.
but yeah. a lot people i hear from say all of his moves are killing moves but im not sure if he's broken or not.

Recently I tried him out, and he's pretty hard to pick up and actually be good with him.
He's good, but not broken.

Be optimistic! He's in the lower half of the cast that is used. Lucas is not bad, but people tend to jump to bandwagons like Snake and Metaknight. Low tier users = rebels against the overpowered high, top and god tiers.

Hardly. Great character but I would say he's slightly below average. It's weird, I used to think he was better than Ness but now that I've used both characters a decent amount, I'd say the opposite is true. Funny how things change overtime.

lucas is definitely NOT broken
but he's definitely not horrible
lucas only works for players that like/use a certain style

to me, lucas seems like a very defensive character, but can run in and put the pressure on with nairs & dairs when a kill is in order.
however, if many characters are able to get close to lucas/knock him in the air/grab him, he's screwed.

it takes a bit of practice to learn the necessary/preferred style.
most people can't just pick him up on the spot
but he's definitely top tier at characters most fun to play.

No, he isnt broken at all. He's labelled as low tier, but I consider him to be one of the best. I very often use Lucas and love playing as him. He is somewhat tricky to learn how to use, but once you know what you're doing, he's an excellent character. He's very well balanced and I think he has the potential to bcome a high tier character one day. If you get owned by a Lucas play, its not because he's broken, its because that person knows what he's doing and is making a path for the rest of us Lucas players.
