iowa didn't show up to kirksville because they heard kansas would be there

no really, iowa should go to NO KOAST!! it'll be fun and you'll have the opportunity to meet top players you probably won't meet otherwise (texas, oklahoma)

NO KOAST is the first circuit event of the Midwest-West circuit, and close to all of the people going will be from the Southwest as far as Dallas, TX. The only Midwest participation so far that are going or are interested are local Wichitans, Missourians, very few people from MI, and you guys; MN, WI, and the rest dropped. Having you guys drop will result in a bad impression of the Midwest.

Showing no consideration in repping your region =/= good.

If IA could get to Kirksville, perhaps they could carpool with us the rest of the way to Wichita. I know that means you'd still need drivers to get to Kirksville in the first place, but it sounds like part of your problem is you don't have cars reliable enough to get you all the way to Kansas, but maybe they are good enough to get you this far? I dunno, just a thought.

i'm sorry, but i found this kind of insulting.

i realize you want them to go to your tourney, but coming into the thread and saying that your better than them right off the bat without even playing them is quite ridiculous. Yeah, maybe you guys would beat them as a state, but who is to say that you are all better? have you heard of joker? if not then its understandable for you to make such a foolish statement. Iowa has been to OOS before and yeah they need to travel more often if they wish to be recognized but it just so happens that its probably not gonna work out for them so rather than coming in and saying your better right off the bat.


i bet i'm better than any of you, ANY of you in melee 100 dollar mm from wichita, cuz you guys would get 2-3 stocked for sure at least.

We're trying to motivate you to come by stating things that would light a fire in your belly and force you to come down here and prove us wrong. It may come across as rude and insulting, but please trust me that such is not the intent. I for one said what I said because I want to play new people and test my skills. I'm sure that's the mindset of the others as well.

Wichita might have MORE good players, but I'd say the ratio of champs to learners is the same.
However, Kirksville is 3:1, soon to be 4:0.
