Baby Ashley runs back. "Come out!" she wails.

The monster draws near.

Joe: (Rises with the lid on his head)This aint no joke! Gicherself outta here! (Turns around in the canister with the lid still on.)

He picks up rotten apple cores, fish skeletons, black banana peels, and other objects from the canister, throwing them at the monster as if they mattered. He finally pulls a cannon from out of the canister and sets it on the ground, but... too late. In a series of frames-- separated in regular intervals of four seconds each, but capturing the events that would otherwise happen in those intervals, and accompanied by sound as normal-- the monster picks up the canister, opens its mouth, dumps Joe in it (while he comically yells), and envelops Joe with its mouth. A very often used, rapid, 'crunching' sound clip plays, as though the creature were chewing thin crisps quickly.

Ian: <He was talking about the western Ashley> (Looks at Japanese Ashley when she says that) You'll never make it out here... (Walks outdoors) to lean against the wall of the building in wait.

"Don't say that to her! She's just a little different from us..." Ashley says. JP continues to ask Ian if he would be her friend over and over again.

Baby Ashley reappears (Sad, Scared), soaking wet and sobbing. Ashley quickly picks her up. "What's wrong?"

"J-Joe die!" Baby Ashley wails.

Rita: He'll respawn after a certain amount of time... Good thing too. It takes a little while for him to get that dirty again, and I think would have lost my temper if I had to smell every bit of lunch he's touched since weeks ago. He'll be cleaner, faster, and able to enter #Respectable Establishments# for a short time after respawning... In the meantime, you still have Western Ashley, and JP Ashley. You need to wait on Joe if you want him, and you haven't unlocked Ian... but I'm not sure...

We could make a provision for other Nintendo characters if alexxxela agrees, but it would need to be well-accommodated. Because of the nature of what they are currently doing, certain entrances can be awkward to work with.>

Magnumlione's underlings replace the bag with one that has a frowning face drawn on it, and hold it in place, restraining her. They arrive at the hideout of the Magnum Lions, a mall that acts as a front for them. They tie Baby Ashley to a chair and uncover her head, turning on a lightbulb in a dark room.

Ian: Let da whinin' out first.

Ray: I'm gonna (pulls out a Jack-in-the-box)...

Ian: Nah, don't do dat. True grit is a dyin' species, y'know... I like your style. Good spin on da goodie-two-shoes... (Calls) Hey, no one hurts the tot or what I understand to be her older doppleganger unless I say so... On account your spunk, I gotta little respect... (Heads indoors with Ray and four other mob members, turning his head just before entering) Just don't cross da line...

Later, Rita 'asks for help in book-keeping.' Okay, so I have an idea. This place is crawling with Lions, so we don't have many daring options at our disposal, but what we can do is convince Ian that he has something to gain by leaving the gates clear. We can then clear the stages as normal, and escape this world. I would suggest keeping your chin up, and not showing fear though. That might undermine everything!

Baby Ashley sobs on Boo-Boo's shoulder. Ashley bring JP over, who doesn't understand what's happening, and heads out the door.

"Now, where would we find an evil organization's headquarters?" Ashley mutters to herself. Then, in typical cliché movie fashion, she sees a skyscraper with a logo reading "ML" on it, and rushes over.

They see two guards at the entrance and hide behind a dumpster. "JP, I need you to go distract them," Ashley says.

JP tilts her head. "Dis...tract? Wakaranai..."

"Ugh, just go on! Itte!" Ashley says.

JP walks over to the guards. "Friends?"
