Ike to Marth: Sorren & Roy??? Missin in Action? Y?

Question: Should Roy and Sorren be in the next SSB (if there's gonna be another one)?

I thought it would be pretty cool to see sothe make an appearance in smash, other than a sticker. At least a assist trophy.

Well, considering the next FE game is starring Marth, I'd think the new characters would be comming from his game instead of Ike's (Ike's wouldn't be the newest anymore.) But I really do think FE should get at least 3 playable characters (I'm hoping for 4). They'll have 11 f'ing games by the time SSB4 comes out anyway (most likely more games, since it's going to be a while before SSB4)

All I have to say is the next FE character better not have a sword. Get something else in there. Roy will never return because he was only in Melee for promotional purposes.

But talking about the future is pretty pointless, considering people are STILL developing new techniques with Brawl. Enjoy the game that's out now rather than talking about how awesome it would be to have OTHER characters. Because frankly, Golden Sun deserves a slot more than another FE char.

^WTF u talking about FE deserves the slot more than Golden Sun b/c they still haven't put in the character of the most epicness pwnage. F***ing HECTOR *****es. If there is a SSB4 they put in the badass who has an actual axe.

Indeed FE deserve more an spot than golden sun, but golden sun also petty much deserves one, but look at poor metroid (RIIIIIIDLEEEEEEEYYYYY!!!). May he means Golden sun deserves more 1 spot than FE 3 spots (may be true, it will be according to golden sun 3).

And who knows i also liked the idea of soren, BUT soren VS hector/Lyn/Ephiram/Erika/Sigurd/Micaiah maked me realize he should not be in smash (But if a Lord turns out to be a magic user... well maybe).

But anyway my idea is: Marth (he WILL be no matter what). and most possible: Ike. Then may: Hector (axe and ubber stats) or Ephiram (lance and ubber stars) or sigurd (Lance AND sword + being the lord of the second best selled FE) or Lyn/Micaiah (smash needs females...) or *Insert generic class popular character whit ubber stats and smash potential*>

I'd much prefer to see Micaiah or Sigurd though, as far as lords go, just for the variety.
But why are you guys talking about characters from Ike's games? Do you not know that Marth's game is comming out this year? As in, Marth's game will be the most recent one by the time they start making SSB4, so his game will get first pick over Ike's game. Ike would probably return since he was the star of two games, and is really popular, but I wouldn't expect to see anyone else from his games (except maybe Micaiah, since she's a lord and thus actually important)

Yes I did know and I can't wait for the epicness of it. Though I'm going to hate this b/c now there are going to be so many freakin' noobs and scrubs playing FE, b/c now a character even two yr olds know will be in it. And it will probably get a lot of advertising too. So its going to create so many marth fanboys who don't really appreciate the game for what it is.

I don't see how Fire Emblem DS will cause anyone to be playing FE that didn't like it before. If anything, Melee caused the initial FE hype and caused FE7 to sell like hotcakes over here.

Those that don't enjoy the games wouldn't just pick up FE DS because Marth and Sheeda are in it. <_< Chances are, most won't pick it up because Marth is in it, just that they are a Fire Emblem fan. I don't think Radiant Dawn sold like hotcakes, and it had Ike in it and was for the same console as Brawl just to make it convenient.

Err, this isn't Pokemon we're talking about, so those two year old children you speak of must be rather hardcore to even know of what Fire Emblem is. Genius Otaku-status perhaps?

Marth will always be with Smash as his name is synonymous with FE in Japan. He was the first Lord, and therefore gains priority over other characters. Roy may be re-added if Sakurai/whoever decides to represent all of the FE universes.

But anyway, Jeigan for Smash 4. =P

I wouldn't mind if Roy was in the next SSB, Fox has 2 clones, Marth should at least keep one clone that he used to have(Roy).

My idea for the new luigified Roy(Note - I only thought of changing his B moves, nothing else) (Note 2 - I changed his abilities to make it more "fun") :

1. B - Flare Blade: Flare Blade will be the same as in SSBM, where Roy slashes his sword instead of stabs it like Marth does in SSBB.

New additions to Flare Blade:

a. Flare Blade now releases a "shockwave"(similar to kirby's cutter Up B move), the shockwave travels as far as the platform on FH but the damage(NOT knockback) gets weaker as it travels.

Shockwave basically means Flare Blade is now ranged.

Shockwaves move at about the speed of Falco's laser projectile, fast but not that fast.

b. Flare Blade can instantly release 3 "shockwaves" by tapping "B" 3 times quickly. The shockwaves are released at different angles. First shockwave is released horizontally, next one is released slightly upward, last one is released more upward.

Here's a picture:

Again it can INSTANTLY do it by tapping B 3 times fast, but the disadvantage is that it damages Roy by about(3/4th) the same amount the shockwave damages for, it also stuns him for 2-3 seconds after use.

So if each Shockwave does 20% damage(for example), it'll damage Roy by 15% damage.

Shockwaves can be shielded and dodged btw.

2. Up B - Blazer Similar to the old Blazer, except it can now:

a. Blazer can now be charged, the longer you charge, the better range, damage, speed(of the attack), and knockback.

Uncharged, Blazer has about 75% of the range of a regular Dolphin Slash and 50% the speed. It has the same damage and knockback though.

Fully charged (takes 4 seconds to fully charge), it has 170% the range of Dolphin Slash, about 80% the speed of Dolphin Slash, and does 200% damage and knockback of a regular Dolphin Slash.

Blazer can be held charged for as long as you want(like Quick Draw), but it will be fully charged at 4 seconds, it doesn't get stronger after that.

b. Roy can now move/run/jump while charging Blazer. Roy can also dash while charging Blazer, he can also turn.

Basically, Roy can move as freely as he want while charging Blazer.

3. Side B - Double-Edge Dance - Actually not sure what to change. Possible changes:

a. It has a different combo/slashes than Marth's, simple change.

OR/AND

b. You can use DED "forever", it'll cycle through all the combos.

AND

c. The longer Roy does a DED combo, it causes Roy's sword to fire and stuns while dealing more damage.

4. Down B - Counter: Too lazy to think of an idea. I guess it could either be the same or it could release a small shockwave when Roy counter's.


Anyway, that's my idea for "luigified" Roy.
