So that's fifty-five characters, leaving me with fifteen more at most. Unlike with the veterans, where I explained them in groups, I'll be explaining each of these individually.

Newcomers: (Possible spoilers for the Earthbound and Kid Icarus series)

Going into this, I didn't intend to reach the limit of what was allowed, but I had so many ideas to work with. If you have any complaints about my choices or reasoning, feel free to let me know.

In the Brawl section, I just noticed that I forgot Lucas; if I'm keeping this within the 70 character limit, I'd remove Medusa from the newcomers list. (though I doubt it's a huge deal if I go one character over)

Other than that, my decisions haven't changed much since December. While I'd like to see Terra Branford from Final Fantasy 6 or Shovel Knight, those two aren't as big of a deal to me as the other third party characters that I listed. With the Roy and Ryu sound files being found since then, I could add those two, but unless Roy's gone through some major changes, I'm not overly interested in seeing him return, and while Ryu is basically the definitive fighting game character, his inclusion wouldn't excite me as much as Rayman or Bayonetta. (though of the two, I'd be more likely to get Ryu than Roy)

For my completely hypothetical Smash 5 roster that will probably be on the Nintendo NX, here are my roster choices:

Veterans:
Everybody from Smash 4, (plus) returns.

Transformations are removed once again.
Clones() return, but heavily changed to become more different from the originals.
gets an entirely new moveset closer to his appearences in the Legend of Zelda series.
gains new specials based off abilities he can do in the cartoony Zelda games.
Most of 's moveset gets reworked to be similar to her Project M incarnation, but with her Smash 4 down-b.
gains her Melee nair, Project M ice beam switch taunt and dodges, and a few new attacks to give her more options.
's Final Smash has him use his arwing.
Mii Fighters are now merged into a more comprehensive fighter that can use any move in the game from any Fighter, similar to Combot in Tekken.
's Final Smash is now the beatdown he gives every boss in DKCR.
is now based on his Wario Land and Wario World incarnations, using his abilities from those games instead. is the alternate costume this time.

Newcomers:
Captain Toad (Super Mario Bros) (Toad is one of the main characters of the Mario series alongside Mario, Luigi, Peach and Bowser. Has a Captain Toadette alt)
Inkling (Splatoon) (I sense that Splatoon will eventually become a really big Nintendo Ip. Has both Male and Female alts.)
Black Shadow (F-Zero) (He can have 's Smash 4 moveset.)
Impa (Legend of Zelda) (Probably the only Zelda character besides , and to appear in multiple games in the series.)
Sceptile (Pokemon) (Completes the Fire-Water-Grass chain with and .)
Tails (Sonic The Hedgehog) (The Sonic series has appeared in Smash twice before Smash 5, so now that it's a staple series, I figured it deserved another rep.)
King K. Rool (Donkey Kong) (Probably THE most requested newcomer in any Smash game ever.)
Bandana Dee (Kirby) (Needed to complete the Kirby team.)
Doc Louis (Punch Out) (Who wouldn't like to see the Doc back in action?)
Ashley (WarioWare) (Most requested WarioWare newcomer.)
Takamaru (Can't remember) (One of the new retro gaming reps.)
Dark Samus (Metroid) (We need more villains.)
Rayman (Rayman) (Ubisoft and Nintendo seem to be on good relations, enough for there to be Rayman trophies in Smash 4.)
Andy (Advance Wars) (He can have 's moveset.)

This is a rough idea of the roster, so it might change.

This is what I don't like about people's opinions on Wario. Removing WarioWare completely is absolutely stupid, as that game is just as important as Wario Land. Wario should be a good balance between Wario Land and WarioWare, and maybe a bit of the spinoffs.

I got this idea from a Reddit user: Special grabs. They're done by pressing special while shielding, or grab and special. Only certain characters like Ganondorf, Bowser, and Wario get this. Chomp becomes the special grab,bike becomes neutral special, and Shoulder Bash becomes side special. EVERYONE WINS!

This is based off SSB4, not PM. You still get helpless after hitting a wall in SSB4.

Medusa IS the main Antagonist of Kid Icarus, and has FAR more to work with than either of those two.

Debatable. Medusa is the most recurring villain but she is arguably not the main villain. Hades has been pulling the strings since the first one and while you can argue something like this is similar to Ganondorf and Demise, Ganondorf hasn't been manipulated by Demise. Yes ultimately almost everything has been from Demise which certainty amounts to something, he hasn't been manipulating Ganondorf. I'n addition to this, Ganondorf/Ganon has been in far more games than Demise. Medusa has been in more games than Hades but by only one game. I still think the arguments and reasoning of why people feel she is the main villain because she has been in more games and was the original villain is understandable but I think due to Hades importance to the events of Kid Icarus I feel he is the main villain. Also Hades has alot to work with. I'm pretty sure even more than Medusa who has around 11 moves. The truth is both characters have a good amount to work with and can be very unique.

has some more little difference from , but mostly stats wise. He is 64/Melee , but slower, stronger and cooler.
is decloned. Now she has some Ike's movement, but she keeps the concept of Newcomer-Friendly Marth without the tip.
is dropped in favour of the latest FE protagonist (so not Kamui). Since it's probably going to be a magic Swordfighter. But if he isn't, gets low priority.

returns only if he is really going to be back as DLc in Smash4. Otherwise, he will be a alt.

is now a alt.

Also all future DLC characters of Smash 4 would be brought back.

If I had the option, I would run a short animated series (simulcasted all over the world) during production to hype up the game, reveal characters, tie (loosely) into the story mode, and possibly bring in some our less interactive brothers.

Sad thing is this may be one of the more logical rosters I ever seen, alot of the ones I've seen have Geno, Ridley, Klonoa and Goku in them X_X Also if you're wondering who this "Ai" girl is replacing the Villager, She was from the Animal Crossing film. She has the same moveset as Villager though, don't worry. Her boyfriend, Yu is an alternate coustume.

Notes: Each Pokemon Trainer alt. costume has all 3 starters from their respected generation, Such as Dawn comes with Piplup, Chimchar and Turtwig.

Pac-Man has a revamped moveset based on the Pac-Man World games. Ms. Pac-Man was given her own slot as she has Pac's Sm4sh moveset for veterans. =)

Also Jigglypuff is nerfed back to her Brawl self. Melee jigs is not comming back. =U

I don't want to sound rude, but you call your roster possibly one of the most logical ones, yet your roster has:
- 14 third-parties
- Three different Pokemon for each Pokemon Trainer alt
- Character from Animal Crossing film replacing Villager... has she even appeared in any AC game?
