I never ended up going to the SFE, I was in Oregon that wekend but i was in the wrong part, I went to two other tournaments while i was there tho.

I think Yamer went to an SFE sometime earlier than last summer so you might be thinking of him.

With the SOP it's not a car pool thing i would be taking the bus so i don't know if anyone else will go, but as of right now i don't think im going cuz i don't have any housing and if i don't get that taken care of then i cant get tickets.

Hey lets go to the Utah tournament on the 15th. I was already planing on going by bus but if we car pooled it would be easier and cost less. I think me Nutz Qraq and Gnosis should go for sure and then whoever else wants to. I say us because i want to have a good crew match and we need all our top players for that.

Tate did i pay you back yet? If not remind me to next time I see you.

BC, ya i haven't forgot, i just forget about it when i am actually smashing with you guys. And i haven't even seen gnosis and just action since the utah trip. But im not really desperate for money yet so you all can get it to me when you can, i don't want to make you guys starve for a week because ya had to pay me back.

Dag yo, southern utah is still looking for housing too. Right now we're looking into hotels because we get a discount, but if I were you, I'd spam Utah thread mercilessly until you find something.

Well I think I have found a program that will pretty much make our video editing click and go. I can even add a stat id in the beginning now so we can say it is an idaho vid at the beginning. It will hopefully make it look more professional and now i can't wait to try it out after we record some new smashage this weekend. For the stat id though we need to come up with a picture for me to use and what it should say. I can add three lines and maybe more so we can have it say something like
line 1 = "Idaho Smash"
line 2 = Players Names
line 3 = the date or something
and 1 question for buzz, are you familiar with programming in avisynth since that is what im using to write the code for the stat id? I think you are probably way ahead of me in the area of programming so hopefully if i run into some errors you could point out my silly mistakes. And if you want to see what i got so far i can pm it to you.

Oh and SugarPoultry, if we can come up with what all of us want for the stat id picture, would you be able to make it since you are awesome at that kind of stuff. It would have to be a 640X480 size picture so hopefully that wouldn't cause any problems.

Craztad, you beast. way to find a video editor! and, can you pm ur phone number to me....i know you gave it to me...but i texted it, and, it wasn't you! Here is an Idea..

line 1 = "Idaho Smash"
line 2 = player(char) vs. player(char)
line 3 = "where , tourney smashfest_"
line 4 = date.

and BC, you know that weekend the utahtourney is is the weekend before FINALS!

Ok so i will program in a fourth line. I got three working just fine so i just need to change the spacing to fit a fouth line in.
Edit: Ok i got a really crappy test vid up. Of course i can move the subtitles around depending on the image. Resizing and stuff is pretty easy. The lenght of the statid i can change too, if you don't want it at both the beginning and end i can change that too.
And sorry but i needed some vid to put in between the statids and super metroid was the only vid on my desktop so i threw a couple frames of it in there to make my life easier.

Yaaay, Idaho has their 'video man' now. We're one step closer to being a legitimate smash state.

Yes for sure on SATURDAY. I have to pick up Dom, so we won't be in untill late..and also i'm swamped with homework and i have to stay at school untill very very late...so the offical smashfest is sometime saturday. WE will say when gnosis gets of work...so 5...I need at least one mor e tv/cube/game...two more would be nice, one for vids...the others just to screw areound on....and we have to do milk matches...so anyone up? its low tier only....so lets start the m up!

And Jjoe, i'll look into something. I have to work a little, but it will be fine, and i'm out of town from the 29th on.

knuttz your dvd recorder must die. Why the hell would anything record in 240X640. I am going to give you a disk to record a 15 second clip in every quality just to see if it is just the format your f****** dvd recorder uses and if it is we are going to have to ban the use of your recorder and just use mine. There are 234,759 frames and i am really not looking forward to going through every single one of them by hand.

i'm sorry craztad...the engineers might have been smoking pot...thats the only reason....240X640? I'll do that, so we can actually see what is going on...it is a walmart recorder....so it does suck. and you woul dhave to go through them by hand? can you write some kind of for loop that changes them?

a loop like that only works if i can figure out all the combinations of colors in the video that need to change through if else like statements, i figured it out for the lowest quality of the first vid we recorded. The higher quality we used makes it far more complicated so i kind of screwed myself by having you use higher quality.

I tried the loop i used for the lower quality and it only fixed about 50,000 frames so im down to 182,361 frames. Knuttz what brand of dvd recorder do you have, maybe i can look it up to see what program it has built in internally to encode/decode video as it records and somehow import it into my program.

sv2000 is the dvd recorder. and yes that is the name, i looked it up and it found it. http://forum.videohelp.com/topic338856.html this is the specs if you are interested.
