But back when it started the war actually had a purpose. In all it wasn't meaningless from the get go its just drawn out for too long.
I love the smell of rationalization in the morning.

2: Saying "what are the odds" is a very naive statement considering it did actually happen big time and we didn't expect it.
Just because you can't quantify the odds doesn't mean people smarter than you can't. My point is, realistically speaking, if you had to put a mathematical number on it, what are the odds? Humans are irrational; didn't I mention the fallacy of the easier something is to imagine it, the more likely you are to believe it to be true? This is the exact example of that. Think about it and logically and stop being a noob about it; you're just being results oriented because it already happened once.

And even then, what if it happened once a year? Once every five years? So what? Is that really worth spending billions and billions just to treat the symptoms? Think about it.

Im sure people at that time were saying "what are the odds". The fact is odds are less when they are spending all their time fighting us. What you think they wouldn't attack us again if we weren't here?
Hahaha what are you talking about, are you really so naive as to think that because you're fighting in [insert foreign country] that you're really more safe as a result? Dude, we live in 2008. Saying crap like "What you think they wouldn't attack us again if we weren't here?" is just a question designed to get my imagination running. Just because it's easier to imagine that, again, doesn't mean it's true. You're not speaking logically so your arguments are so weak as to not even merit a direct response.

3: Ya the Afghani coalitions and Al Qaeda are getting pissed off but to what end? They can't do anything with a high power influence on their back. You don't think this pressure is somewhat if not all keeping them at bay?
See above.

4: Like I said a couple posts ago. I don't expect you to support "your" country. But don't demean those who are fighting for what they believe even if under a guise. These people believe what they're doing is right. To some degree it's true but for a corrupt government.
Oh, so you wouldn't demean the Flat Earth Society either?

P.S. Replicate surw likes to cockride MikeHaze lol
Hahahaha, the read no one from SoCal (or anyone decent really) reacted like that was a shock is because it wasn't. To people in the know, it was an obvious statement of truth. That's the point: you guys aren't good. Plus there's the fact mikehaze is probably a lot better than you think.

Alot better than I think? I didn't say he was bad just I believe I can beat him.
And being good means you have to be in the mix of mainstream?
I was when I lived in Houston but it went down when I came to Idaho because we aren't mainstream. Lack of people and motivation is why we don't go OOS.
And ya about 80% of Idaho isn't that great due to lack of people and real mainstream unlike Cali.
Fact is, I would put our couple of good people up against the trolling morons of this thread any day.

What the **** is this ****? I wake up after a night of partying and I come in between all this ad hominem bull****!
"You're not speaking logically so your arguments are so weak as to not even merit a direct response." <-- Really? If your gonna get someone to genuflect before your logical argument don't condemn them using a logical fallacy.
And
As much as I hate Ebonics, I have to agree with $ick.

It's pretty crazy a state can be so isolated that every smasher in it has the typical noob mentality and doesn't even realize it.

Ya I don't really mean skill level, just the mindset.

"We're better than mostly everyone based entirely on how we play against each other."

noob mindset ^^

And let me ask you...how is that a noob mindset? If we may or may not have it.
And when did we ever say we were mostly better than anyone? I mean I've said that cause I trust "my" skill.
I can see why you would think that but can one not hone skill through perseverance and practice?
As far as I've seen it, through the history of smash, random hometown players have come out of the woodworks and shown great skill out of nowhere and became great players in the community.
So knocking an area for having people who study the game and have practiced to a point where they believe they're good and then saying they are not is just opinionated through no real proof at all.
The only angle you have to go on is how our rules operate, but without structure, how is a noname community expected to flourish in a mainstream society?
All in all don't need your approval on the rules. Just thought I should put that into perspective.

NO ONE randomly comes out of the "woodworks" and becomes a great player.

You have to play the best to be the best.

It's just no one takes notice until that certain person beats someone noticeable, or wins a noticeable tournament.

It's not like I don't talk trash. But now it seems like socal is just trolling because they think/know they are better.
It all started because of this LOL

Lulz!
No justification for the ban in the face of question...

Wow, I had no idea this was going on in the Idaho thread 0_o

But seriously, Qraq... why do you have to sign your name at the end of your posts every time? Like, we know it's you lol.

Habit?
I do it for everything and not just my alias but my nicknames and name.
Emails, MySpace, Facebook, forums etc.
I guess it all started with emails you know when you put like "Love, [name]" and what not, I would put "-[name]".
There's the story =D.

Well your answer is, Overswarm will lavish praise on you since it's apparently his life's goal to get MK banned (I'm quite surprised he hasn't made his way into this thread yet actually), and a bunch of noobs will go "omg I hate fighting MK let's ban him," meanwhile people who actually base decisions on defined criteria and evidence call you out on scrubbiness (regardless of whether they think MK should be banned or not).

There was no reason. We just wanted to see how such a statement would have been received by the rest of the community.
Just action is a fvcking ****** don't listen to him, we had discussions about it and have reasons for why we banned him that knuttz will post when he gets back from Europe. I would also like to point out that New Mexico also banned MK and at HOBO 12 MK is banned as well at El paso TMS - brawl/melee tournament. So it's not like this is out of the blue for us. And i think MK is banned in Italy as well.

until you actually present reasonable defined criteria and evidence, you have no defense against it.

and the longer you don't, the more scrubby you look. that should be easy to see, no?
