Single player, I find, has its own rewards. When you go it alone, you're completely in control.
Unfortunately, Melee's Adventure just wasn't hard enough, even with Very Hard mode.
It's looking like multiplayer will be very pleasing indeed, possibly enticing me to try it out.

Brawl isn't meant to be pure platforming like Mario. It's an expansion on the story mode, but it's got to be short enough to complete it with one character in one sitting. It's not going to keep you occupied for months. Get Galaxies or Corruption for that.

This is a fighting game. The single player campaign will be neat... once... Seriously, the core fighting engine needs to be the focus. If you want a deep single player experience, go buy Corruption and Twilight Princess.

I prefer a shorter well put together story, like Starfox 64 that game I played so much, pretty fun to continually get better at it.

For Brawl single player is just a huge bonus for me, I'll be playing multiplayer like crazy though once I unlock all the characters.

the previous single player modes were short and lacking for me. i hope the single player in brawl will be harder and lengthier and i hope it peaks my interest with its story. overall, i hope it satiates my needs and is a blast in the face to play.

i sure hope the story goes deep and is extremely gratifying.
