What about Sonic Sat AM?
Never watched it when I was younger, it was all about some random adventures that would always lead into Sonic kicking Dr. Robotnik's "butt" as I probably would've put it when I was at that age.

Doesn't mean I got bored of watching reruns though. Man I wish they had anime like this again, I don't like the 4Kids version of Sonic X.

I also find it funny how Sonic tried to tell me about this stuff when I was younger, and only recently did I understand the message behind it.

Either I didn't catch on/ never had to worry about the problem/ never really did pay attention to the Sonic "sez" segments, but I LOLed when I watched it again just to realise how and why I must've missed it. Imagine how embarrassed my parents must've felt when they watched this stuff with me XD. I also found it ironic how the spelling was so close to what he was probably trying to warn me off pre-18.

Well I still have another year and a half or something.

So, to all the teens on Smashboards, enjoy these next few years of your life, because in 10 years, you'll only have memories left.
Quoted for epic truth!!! Heed this man's words!!! At this point in my life, all I do is a lot of reflecting on my past years.

Eh, I don't really miss my childhood. The way I thought and saw the world was not understandable by my peers. Basically, I was way too mature when I was younger. I still think like I'm at least 10 years older than I am. It's sad when I relate more to my teachers and my friend's parents than the kids in my school or my friends.

So I'm a lot more glad that people are starting to even out with me a little more now. It was kinda difficult living like that as a kid. I'm referring a bit more to my teen years than before, but even then I just thought and acted way more maturely than I should have been for my age.

I never really had an 'inner child' as some people put it. I always had an inner 700 year old wizard or something like that--like an inner Gandalf.

So, for me, I'm glad I'm surrounded by slightly more mature people than I normally am, but I must admit, even some of my teachers show a good deal of immaturity. It's sad sometimes, but I get over it.
Interestingly enough, my situation was the reverse. I was (and probably still am) about 5-10 years younger than my actual age and was criticized harshly because of it. In 7th grade people thought I was either immature or ********. In 8th grade someone said I was a 5-year old in a 14-year old body.

I miss being a little kid and not having to worry about the future and technicalities of life. D:

Being a senior in high school makes you realize that your life has passed by really quickly. =A=
Not as fast as being a junior in college ( I'm actually old enough to be a senior in college)! Be gratefule you realize that now. :) When I was a senior in high school I was so ready to get out of school that I didn't savor my last moments of "youth" and overlooked the fact that would never see most of my friends again.

People enjoyed their teenage years? What was so good about being a teenager?
Because generally you're too old for childhood restictions and at the same time not quite old enough for the major adulthood resonsibilities (well, you're not expected to be anyway). Long story short, you get the best of both worlds.

No Internet?!?
- Usually, getting some sort of freedom

- not much worry about bills

- (for me) getting my first lap dance at a senior trip

I'm pretty sure there's more though :p
Still, adulthood has all that and much more. And worrying about bills, it's not that much different that worrying about exams and things I'd say.

Long story short, you get the best of both worlds.
Well, you don't get the best of adulthood really. It's like being stuck in some sort of limbo between freedom and childhood.

I often find myself in memories of my childhood and it really feels like I was a kid again. Then when I snap back into reality I get really sad/pissed. :/

When I think of it, I just remember when I was a child, I wanted to be a grown up because they do what the hell they want. Does anyone else think about this?

=/ yea i remember when i was little it was
pretty great, care free and just having
fun. Summer vacation seemed so much
longer when i was a little kid. not So much
to worry about. Being older isnt bad
at all, just a lot more responsibillity and
things to worry about.

OMG I miss being like 10 so much. My teenage years weren't any fun at all, and didn't really do anything but traumatize me and cause my social anxiety.

but in your childhood did you have...

This was my childhood...

But now, it's filled with purple monsters that would kill to be a cook. Filled with ideas that had potential, but failed as they developed. Ideas like friends that YOU create to your liking, the perfect friend... all the perfect friends under one roof, looking for your friendship. But ideas like a living Coconut named Joe on an island... with a bunch of talking fruit friends... I-... I... *shoots self*

You had really good taste as a child. My question is, where's Ed, Edd, and Eddy? The early shows were great.

Also, Cow and Chicken anyone?

The red devil is probably the creepiest character that I can remember from early cartoon shows. Oh yea, can't forget about the game shows. Guts, Double Dare, Legends of the Hidden Temple, Wild and Crazy kids. They were all on the channel Nick Gas like 2 years ago but now its gone. I could watch Mike O'Malley crazyness any day

I miss riding bikes with my brothers in the rain haha. We'd get so filthy and bruised up and completely drenched. There tends to be a lot of wipe outs when you are purposely trying to slide though giant puddles. I also miss building really crummy tree forts in the woods and getting all kinds of injuries from it lol. Stuff collapsing on top of you, ladder breaking and you falling down the tree, branches breaking, splinters, nails, accidentally hitting yourself or someone else with a hammer. Stealing wood from construction sites. Lots of hospital visits lol.

I just finished erasing that from any existing memory I had, and you had to remind me of that show again. Ugh.

I miss when I was small. I remember Yu Gi Oh, Pokemon, Metabots, Spongebob, and all that good stuff. But most of all I miss recess. Not the show, the actual thing. Work sucks.

I both miss my childhood and happy that it's gone. Miss it since being young is great and such, but happy since it wasn't the greatest years of my life. Yes, confusing, I know.

Also, I agree, I miss all the good shows on TV.

you remember the show Doug with Doug Funny? That's a great show and that needs to still be on..
I was just talking about that show in class Friday. It was awesome, too bad you never see shows like that anymore.
