P.S. - Whenever I look at the title of this thread, I always read it to myself as "I have best Yoshi in USA" in a really thick Russian accent. It sounds something like Heavy Weapons Guy from TF2, it's pretty awesome, haha.

P.P.S. - To avoid spamming, I'll get back on topic. D1 and Bloshi's Yo'sters are pretty nasty. Seanson's also beastly in teams (Ultimate respect for a teams Yoshi--I can't do that mess). Allz I'm sayin is Gabe better watch out before the young'uns pass him by~

I can't really say anything about my Yoshi, since I haven't been to anything major. As far as mastery of the character goes, I'm really good. However, I am a mediocre player at best. That means impressive combos and fun to watch factor, as well as some silly spacing tricks, but not exactly tourney-winning.

I do good in tourneys, kind of. Took 11th out of 40-50 at the last huge WI tourney FBT2.

Can't really compare each other by tourney standings though. I know where I'm from (midwest) people are generally not as good as other places (especially here in Minnesota, har har).

I wish I could play more yoshi mains, but they are hard to come by. Last time I played a yoshi main was at FCD (10 hours away), where I did a few yoshi dittos with Rob Gambino, where I think we went about even, my memory is a bit hazy.

Brawl will solve these disputes, although not for the best melee yoshi

Has anyone here besides Gabe played Azen's Yoshi? I don't think I've ever even seen or heard of it, but knowing him, it's probably ******** good, especially if Gabe says so. I wanna get stomped by that kid in dittos, he looks fun to play against.

Lol wow park how are you gonna call yourself that. Well I know im not the best yoshi in the USA. But i do think im good. I haven't exploited djc attacks and movement to its fullest. But my game has really stong defense and counter methods. In some matches against hight teirs, that matchups are just too bad for yoshi. Thats why i picked up falco for a secondary. An another thing. I believe its really hard to say who is the best. Lol im sure Azen gabe, and Frotaz are up there though. I mean smash is such an openended game. More than one style of yoshi can be a TIER RIPING DRAGON. Thats why I believe there are classes. And right now I believe my yoshi is an A+ Class yoshi. But if I want to get to that S class. I'll have to exploit DJC attacks and movments to its fullest. If I do that then I might consider my self S class. If it counts for anything Bloshi is an amazing aggresive yoshi from what i heard.
