I have a secondary....ZELDA!!!!

I have decided after long thinking that I would secondary Zelda. I mostly go Peach in tournaments but I want to use Zelda as well. I hate having a secondary and would like to do well and make it Far with Peach. If I was to use other characters I would not feel right as going all Peach and getting my placing. Thats the only reason I play this game, cause Peach is in it and wanna take her as Far as I possible can.

But then I got to thinking. Peach and Zelda are both mid tier. So it won't be like I am going to a character that better. Peach is higher than Zelda anyway. So I am actually downgrading. And I just love Zelda. She is so fun. I started playing with her about a month a go, for thoses that have not seen the videos and would like too, here they are.

So I'll Be using her when the time calls for in tournaments. Not sure against who though. I have too look at her Match ups and see. This is hard cause most match ups Peach handles better than Zelda. So I have no clue who I would use her against.

For Now I might use her against Lucarios. I know how to fight them with Peach but he sometimes annoys me and won't die so easy and I start to play really stupid.. So I may Bring Zelda in everytime I have to fight a lucario. And if I lose that, I'll bring out peach.

And I am also thinking about DDD. Peach Vs DDD is even But starting to think Zelda could do better Vs him. Everyone else I am fine with just going Peach for now till I see something my Zelda could do better. And maybe ROB?

Still I would wanna learn all her match ups and see how that goes.

I only watched your Zelda vs. ZSS. it's compitent enough that you can use her. I DID however notice that you could have ledgedropped a uair a couple times and it would have killed ZSS. not sure if you ever think to do that, but you should.

I'm not that good when it comes to edgeguarding with Zelda, when I try they usually come back or I die cause of it.

I am really glad to see people picking up Zelda, especially if it is a good player it should help the community along quite a bit. Will you be going to MASS Madness? I would like to see your Zelda in person!

no I mean when you were hanging from the ledge, ZSS was standing above you charging smashes. all you had to do was drop off the edge and Uair right away and it'd kill her.

I like magic, and yea I will be there. The way I am gonna play Zelda in tournies is, if I win my first match as Peach, I switch to Zelda, reguarldess of what character it is. Then if I lose that fight, I'll go to Peach. If I win with Zelda hen good for her. reguardless they will both get air time and work together as a team. This will help with her rankings since not many zeldas around doing much in tournaments. I wanna change that if I can.

I ****in hate zelda against peach. Its some bull**** on a stick. All the Zelda has to do is spam Up smash or a smash attack and your ****ed from the start.. Even if you do space like crazy and be super defensive.

If it was that simple, she have the advantage......which she does not. I am gonna assume you can't fight one well. Cause Zelda players that do that to me I punish them for it and they don't win.

Peach has the advantage versus Zelda correct? It makes sense, but only if the Peach know which range to float at. Done right Zelda has very few options against a Peach.

I know. I know Peach in and out and what she can, can't do/ I played a few good Peach players and won as Zelda.. It's hard though.

I have some Zelda vs Peach matches and I was wondering dark if you could critique them for me? Like how I could have punished better in a certain situation as Zelda or if I was doing something majorly wrong. They're in the video thread but it seems a bit inactive so I'll post them here:

I could not watch them all, Youtube is acting up on me..

You rush at him alot, and have a habit of rolling and sidestepping alot. which makes it hard for you to get a good hit on Peach. Zelda has no buissness rushing Peach.

Learn how to bait her and take it so vs Peach. Don't rush her, she can punish you bad for it. Space your moves. It will make it hard for Peach touch you. And can get her well when she is rushing you.

I loke to use Nair alot on her when she comes at me with Dairs. I space it right and aim for the sides on Peach. Her Dair wont hit me and I hit with my Nair. It can handles some of her approaches, so thats a good option. And has good priority.

Also you can up-B out of the shield if you need to break free from Peach.after you shield some attacks. I do this alot and it helps.

Learn to space that Dtilt and use it well, you can get some good kills off Peach with a follow up after you Dtilt. Zelda can K.O Peach well, and this move helps with it. same with your tilts.
