Sure, it's not private, however is it posted for people to know it? I need an email in order to activate my account iirc.. But anyweays, I gave you guys my messenger information, along with my email. Sure that allows you to get my myspace, but why didn't I post it? Obviously I didn't want people to have it.

Consider now, i have no information up whatsoever, however my name has been posted amongst people who I don't know, and have never seen. I don't know what any of you are capable of, and while I personalyl don't mind getting trolled or made fun of, Facebook allows you connection to other people I care for.

Honestly, if Jaydeth added me I wouldn't care if I knew who he was and wanted to talk abotu something in particular. If anyone straight up adds me on facebook/myspace, I won't care at all. However you don't have to post it publically. Not many people sit on smashboards and think

"let me get this particular person's facebook and troll the **** out of him"

Why would they? When they can do the same thing on smashboards and get little to no punishment.

But anyways...

Thanks Miharu, you have taught me the way of not trusting anyone, even people I'm nice to on smashboards. I'll make sure to never give anyone any contact information to my messengers because of the fact they can get my facebook and myspace and add all of my friends without mine or their permission.

the thing is the anonymity of the internet allows one to escape most of not all punishment that would otherwise be handed out in a real-life situation
