If you are three people then make sure you pick a character with very safe options who is hard to pressure without taking great risks, then pretend like your participating in the match while in fact carefully making sure you only land attacks when you know they are gonna hit and keep a small but safe distance.

Basically just **** with them after major rapage on them. Pick Kirby or Sonic and just taunt like crazy.

Here's another good one that works especially nice if you and your friends are noobs.

Spend a week practicing an easy to learn character like crazy, watch all the videos read the guides etc, play teams vs 2 lvl 9 cpu's just to make sure you know how to survive under pressure and practice comboes and juggling vs 1 lvl 3 cpu.

Good characters for this is:

Wolf, Fsmash has great range and little to nog lag, you can just spam dsmash in close combat for great success since you and your friends are noobs no one will be fast enough to punish anyway. Also camp with his laser a lot then fsmash into your friends when they try to approach or roll away and reset, very easy to do. Just make sure you can work around his crappy recovery and fast falling speed so that you dont do this. Once you got this covered you can go onto decimating your noob friends who will start screaming about wolf being OP, then you show them the tier list and they will proclaim that its false, thats when you can laugh out loud at their retardedness.

Donkey Kong, just learn bair spacing and punish their **** with dsmash once they are high, also throw out some random fsmashes and learn to cargo spike, allways keep africa punch charged and use it liberally just to keep your friends stressed.

Lucas, Lucas actually sucks **** but since you and your friends are noobs you can just learn to approach easily with dair and nair and crap, also camp a lot with PK fire, once they are at 85% or so you can KO them with fsmash or usmash easily since none of you can DI anyway.

DDD, Just learn to be a ***. All you have to do is walk across the stage and hit them with Ftilts and throw waddledees, if they try to approach you shield and grab, learn to let go of shield and turn around and grab so that you can punish dash attacks easily to, use the chaingrab whenever you can and throw out random fsmashes.

I would recommend MK but since your friends are noobs they will just blame the char that way, by picking one of the above chars they will get mad 4 real since they dont understand why they are losing so hard.

Another one, which is actually kind of a strategy.
When a Smash Ball appears, let it be. Let everyone else pummel the ball, and keep yourself a bit far away. It'll eventually fly away from the confusion with like 2% damage left until it's open. If it goes towards your direction, just casually stroll at it and attack it with your weakest attack, claiming it. Everyone else was fighting like crazy to get it, and you just went and used a small punch. LIKE A BOSS. If you couldn't get it, just avoid the Final Smash (we have guides for that). LIKE A BOSS. Don't forget to taunt a lot while you're doing this. Bonus points if you taunt "Come on!" with Captain Falcon... and this happens: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HRCl7Ihd47s

Also, I say this is a strategy, because it kinda is. Joining the mess and trying to damage the Smash Ball will just make it run away. The other(s) that didn't attack it will have space and time to deal the final blow.
