The ending is a montage of SS's patented d.throw>knee off the ledge>recover called the Drop Zone and can be found torward the end in DBR's latest and epic SilentSpectre combo video http://smashboards.com/showthread.php?t=115567

Simply put, how does one perform that so that it A) hits B) you are able to recover

It's easier than you think. All you really do is act upon the opponent's DI. It may not hit if the opponent DIs away.

Just practice the timing of hitting A after you run off. You've gotta do it at a precise moment or else you're not gonna make it back. Period.

VS. some characters you might have to fast fall, but don't ff too long and hit your second jump -> up+b immediately after the knee hits or you're dead.

Haha bull, unless you're already incredibly high you're going to die from fast falling.

It's all about getting the knee out right after you run off, as already mentioned.

i hate that shlt

weak knee to up air pisses me off
haha, this is funny

the technique is easy ... if you can either dtilt or d throw them all the way at the edge... just fall off and do the knee (if your less experienced with falcon you can use the cstick) but falcons a character where the less c stick you use the better your falcon will be...

you dont have to worry about their DI really... i think it hits if they DI up,away, or towards you...

although if they DI towards you... your knee might stage spike them... thus giving them a chance to tech and edge guard you afterwards...

im not sure about what happens if they DI down though...

i completely disagree. your method of doing that actions have no bearing on the effects. i personally use the cstick because i like to be able to DI differently than my aerial. but thats not a standard, as i use the A button for knees and uairs and bairs sometimes (never dairs tho, i cant FF them properly with A lol). anyways, my point is if g-reg comes out and says he uses cstick religiously, would you still hold this to be true? or are you saying that just because isai (and darkrain afaik) use A?

it's good to c-stick uairs and dairs with falcon, to make sure you don't mess them up.

Yeah, no joke. It just kind of takes a feel for Falcon overall. I started doing it a few days ago no problem, its pretty useful more often than not around here.
