LTC3 ANOUNCEMENTS
1. Low Tier City 3 Registration closes in 11 days on July 21st! You NEED to have registered by then or you will not be able to play in any of the smash tournaments! Go to http://letsplaygamingexpo.com/regist…/attendee-registration/ to register. Remember, there is a 256 man cap on each game, so if you don't register in time, you might not get your spot!
2. WE ARE LOOKING FOR VOLUNTEERS! You must be available from Friday, July 31st-Sunday, August 2nd. You will be able to enter one event, and are expected to help run pools and brackets the rest of the time, and you will receive free venue and will be able to enter any 1 event. 3. SMASH 4 PLAYERS: Game and Watch and Sheik are banned on the same team at Evo for doubles, As such, this team composition will not be allowed at LTC3. Both sheik and mr. game and watch are both legal, but cannot be played on the same team.

ITS TIME! (TGC) Texas Gaming Championships 4 will be going down Aug 15 at our new venue Funplex. For those who don't remember we ran tournaments at Funplex for almost 2 years and it has gave us some of the best memory's to this day. Funplex was created by the same architects who created Disney World and is the venue that carried the HOBO/TYS Test Your Skills series and now TGC. The Funplex you once knew has been upgraded with a $2 million renovation with over 100 new arcade games and pinball machines. This TGC 4 will be different and will feature 2 rooms: 1 room exclusively for Smash 4 and 1 room exclusively for FGC/Melee/BYOC. The Smash 4 room will be a private room that's located at the top inside the bowling alley and the FGC/Melee/BYOC will be a private lounge located at the bottom. I will be posting a video tour soon. I spoke to Funplex management about sponsorship and they are coming on as a sponsor for TGC and to kick off the sponsorship they will be sponsoring $20 game cards to all 1st place champions for each game and I also will be sponsoring and bringing back the custom airbrush prizes for 1st place champions. Prizes are To Be Announced!
Funplex has given me the opportunity to create my own fighting game arcade in an area that can hold over 60 arcades. I will be giving them a list of games to buy old/new and will let everyone know when the arcade is ready to go. They also gave me another huge opportunity but I will announce that at a later time. I'm looking forward to returning to Funplex and starting a new chapter.
TGC 3 had 210 people in attendance with players traveling from every major city in Texas.
