So me and Karna want to stream our normal practice sessions on Friday, and I thought it would be a good idea to borrow the Twitch channel that we'd be using for TGC and other tournaments in the future as a means of a little bit of promotion. Thing is, we need a name for this new account. What should it be called?

I think something with Lone Star in it would be cool, or maybe something that has to do with the Fire Nation? Could also just keep it as TGC. Wat do?

Dislike that Showdown is having Sm4sh on two separate days. Saturday is the actual tournament, Sunday is top 8. I'm sure people have plans and finals coming up. Prob won't show up to a 2-day event, even if I were to make it into the second bracket.

Lol, I think Nintendo's given up on balancing/scaling customs. For example, Link's Up Special 3 (Shocking Spin) now has nearly the same knockback as the vanilla Spin Attack (which got a knockback and % buff as of 1.06) with all the drawbacks of being a crappy recovery.

EDIT: Ironically, it actually kills slightly later.

Anime matsuri, WHOBO and Texas showdown use to all be held at the same venue on the same date for many years. I think once Planet Zero shut down TxSD went off and did its own thing.

Showdown used to do it's own thing way, WAY back when Chris and Javi were at Stargate still (MvC2, CvS2, 3S days). Back before streams existed, quarters were used to hold your place in line, matches were recorded with cameras on tripods sitting behind the players, tourney DVDs were made.... the good ol' days... :')

I was referring to Melee. In this game, so far in terms of good and bad, he is leaning to bad. Just my opinion and the big glaring weaknesses I see (bad neutral game and dies at low percents, both I dislike and not cool to have in this game). I'm sure Trela can and will prove me wrong, but unless he or anyone wins a REAL national or places top 5 with Mewtwo...nah man.

I don't want him to beat people and then lose to a random Bowser Bomb that kills him at 40%.
