So how many complaints in tournaments do you guys get as Olimar mains that fighting you is some degree of difficult?

The matchup topic isn't very well organized (Or maybe i'm not good at reading what you've all wrote. T-T) so I couldn't really see who Olimar is particularly strong or falters against, i'd like that information, too.

No., i'm confident enough against Olimar players with my Lucario. Truth be told, i'm considering Olimar as a second. =o! Mainly for Dededes I can't seem to do anything to with Luca, but he (oli) might see other uses from time to time. Was trying to see if I was making an informed decision. X3 The only thing that's preventing me from doing it right now is the limited options his recovery brings. I'm from Lucario, so, naturally i'm spoiled in the recovery options department. X3

he's a good pick vs a dumb ddd
there's a few that know the math up really well and can give you trouble

best is to camp and yellows are helpful because
1. they trap with uair and have great range
2. they have an arched flight pattern which is good because most ddd's will stay in the air vs oli

If you're going to use Olimar as a counterpick against DDD, you have to study the matchup. It's not one of those instant wins. If you want one of those kinda matchups to deal with DDD, then use IC and practice the bthrow->footstool->iceblock chaingrab. It takes less than 10 minutes to learn. An easy 0-death on a character that's easy to pressure with alternating blizzards= easy win.

Also, his recovery takes getting used to. You have to be much more careful deciding when to use your second jump and aerials, and when to whistle over airdodging and vice versa.

The new Olimar mains are gonna start flaring up now. New rule: No new Olimains after this last tier list. If you didn't main him before he became high tier then go main MK or some other high tier lulz.

Well, i haven\'t gone to any IRL tournies, but i play a lot of online, and a lot of people seem to be aggrivated with my Olimar. They usually just say he takes no skill to play or that all i do is throw,run and grab.
So people will be annoyed with your Oli, which is mindgames as well.

Ew, Metaknight. D= Dude when I first saw the trailer I was like "Yeah, i'm gonna play Metaknight cause he's cool." Then when it came out I forgot all about him and played Pit and Lucas and gravitated towards Lucario. >,>

Me too, cause MK looked bad ***, but when the game came out i ditched Ganon(melee, i sucked at melee though.) I then tried Olimar and fell in love by his pikmin.

Another thing is that i never picked up MK because of the massive amount of people who used him.
