It's not that your point isn't valid, it's just that there is no real reason to completely dismiss it, since there is still a possibility of it.

i was about to say that. its not a crazy idea so i believe him. if he where like "ZOMGZGORZPWNSUACEINYOFACE THERES 10 MORE NEW (*insert crazy ridicoulouse idea here*)" then no, non of us would beleive him. not something to get too hyped up about though. if hes right sweet if not who cares.

Well honestly what did you think was going to happen to the guy? After all we were bombarded with bs after bs topics with people claiming to be "on the inside". People aren't going to accept him with open arms.

If he's right (which I doubt). Then people might retract their statements. When reading topic's such as these it is always safe to assume he/she is lying until proven otherwise.

No the moral of the story is that insulting him has no point, if you don't believe him then stop reading and gtfo, there is no purpose in flaming people, and the only effect it could possibly have is to scare away people who are being truthful, and there is a small possibility that this is true. So stop flaming, hell stop posting if you think this is completely bull ****, let the rest of us wait and see if it's true or not.

I actually doubt the verity of this myself by now, but, yeah, it's nothing to get worked up about.

And I apologize to you, EPF, if I offended you. Not doubting your integrity, your post did make the whole topic seem a lot less believable. There is still the small possibility that it's true... but in the end, you just shouldn't feel angry about it all. After all, if it's a troll, that's what he wants. Consider the walk to your local Gamestop a nice opportunity to catch some fresh air.

Well for one if such information was true (again which I doubt) I myself would of waited till I had gotten the demo in my hands before I went of ranting about it on smashboards. I would of then posted pictures or maybe even recorded a vid.

It could very well scare some people off that actually have some factual information however. If you are truthful and have concrete evidence to back up your claim; you should have nothing to worry about.

I do wonder if that was that actually Sakurai that posted here a while ago. I mean it could be...

I walk alot on a daily basis, so I don't think that walk even justified as a great walk.

Of course, games that are this anticipated always have somekind of demo, but this is about Brawl. A demo of Brawl, would boost the anticipation, hype and need of the finished version so Im sure they are going to release a demo soon, I think it would be very limited but still good though, that way you would be hungry for more. Please post up some info when you get a chance to play it.

I may be going to Gamestop today and I'm going to check if they have information about Nintendo representatives coming since it's a nation-wide company and they have to keep in contact to help with their business. If they say no, then Eternal Phoenix Fire, the others that didn't believe this, and I are right. If yes, I'll throw away my claim about this guy being wrong. You know what? On second thought, I'll call them right now.

Edit: Talked to the assisant and it turns out the Nintendo representatives didn't give out information about Brawl.

I talked to the guys at my local Gamestop, and they told me that there is indeed a new Wii Demo Disc coming for kiosks, but he wouldn't tell me what games would be on it. I don't know if he knew or not, but he wouldn't say either way.
