honestly, this thread isn't even needed imo. we have about 3-4 smashers in the beaumont area that are even half-way competitive. all this thread has been is spamming so this thread should be taken down. i could understand if we had a bigger scene here, but it's small as hell so... take 'er down.

And I dunno, it's difficult for me to go anywhere because of several factors, let alone get any regular practice in. Not only do I need to keep an eye on my younger siblings, but I also need a ride to all these places. (I know you guys'd be willing to help, and I really appreciate that, but my parents are paranoid and reluctant to let me go anywhere with anyone that they don't know. =/ )

As for not carpooling, see above. Believe me, I'd like to, but I'm still tied to the nest, so to speak.

Anyway, getting the issues of regular practice and carpooling out of the way, I may be able to convince them to let me go to a smash-fest at Gamecove or someone's house. In fact, if we do the latter, it may let at least one of the parentals get to know some of you and be less reluctant to let me do these things.

But anyway, I've gone on long enough. We'll wait and see, I suppose.

We have one player (MyTyme) who's really good. He barely makes it out to tournaments but he got ninth at a PZ tournament, which I'm glad to point out is better than ANY Buttmountian has ever done. As for the rest of the members, I'll be training my dad, mom, and my little brother (Who btw probably doesn't need training since he goes about even with Take mwahahaha).

it's easier to just say go past the two big plants on the right, and then look for the electronic sign that flashes some BS words, then take the u-turn and BAM turn where the sign is.

I 3 stocked Xyro's samus at a small get together the other night.
I felt really good to 3 stock someone that wasn't trash. He wasn't playing very good but it was still reallly statisfying.

EDIT: I'm gonna bring 3rd strike and Guitar Hero to this thing in case people get bored with Brawl. I'll have Melee too.
