help vs snake :(

seriously, i hate snake. i was versing this REALLLLLLY good snake (from AiB free play), and its so freakin hard to approach. yes, i know im MK. i picked battlefield, and that snakes stage pressure was amazing. i have to watch out for his mine, c4, grenades, and even the occasional nikita drop. and right when i get past his wall of explosives, i go "YE- *gets ftilted*". and back to getting past another wall of explosives . seriously, how do i beat a good snake?

Watch, bait an attack, and punish his lag. This isn't a match you can just go in balls to the wall, because Snake's punishing game is some of the best in Brawl.

Don't nado, because he'll just drop a grenade and you'll eat it.

Get him off stage, and gimp the hell out of his recovery.

when i bait, he goes behind his wall of mines and throws grenades and nikita-drops me >_>.
gimping works, but its hard enough as it is getting past his explosive wall

Bait JUST past Ftilt range. If he drops an explosive when you're that close, you can either run in with an attack, or grab if he shield drops a grenade.

You can also use his explosives against him, btw. Grab a grenade he throws and throw it right back, but watch out for 'nade stripping.

You can do a shield dash to blow up his proximity mines, and you're fast enough that he shouldn't be able to hit you with C4.

If you can predict his Ftilt, you can spot dodge the first hit and sneak in a Dtilt or Dsmash in between the first and second hit.

D-tilt is your best friend in this match-up.

Until he power shields it and forward tilts your face.

You can powershield as well. If your in a position to attack him and he tries to ftilt you, powershield it or dodge. You can punish him for being predictable as well, however effective it might be. Dimensional cape might work too, and I think you can hover over his mines with drill rush.

If you're going to tornado him, go in off the ground so you can try to pick him up with the tail and move away from the nade.

.... or does it explode on contact? I'm not sure.

Also, a dashgrab when he pulls out and shield drops a nade might slide you out of it's range.

grenades are annoying, the snake i played was amazing at cooking and stripping them . its hard to avoid is c4 and mines when in the heat of battle and trying to not get blown up by grenades and nikita drops.

Best approach ever. If the technique wasn't banned, Dimensional Cape would have easily been the most broken move in the game.

Mks ftilit is mad good like snakes. his just does like 10 more % LOL.

i usually grab more htis matchup and really try to go fro kimp kills instead of the sides. u can nado off the top too cuz they recover so high. i loooove mk vs snake idk why
