Everyone is going to be all like "HOW DO I GET PAST SHULK'S FORWARD SMASH IT'S TOO STRONG PLEASE NERF", while I'm going to be in the back unleashing my inner Piccolo and yell "DOOOOOOOODGE!!!"

I always thought he was cool, but I didn't fully support him (Still did, but didn't know the character) until I finished Xenoblade in March and actually understood why I supported him. Hell yeah.
I guess those are your hipster glasses on Tatsu there?
Reminds me of something I wanted to say for a bit, but then forgot.
I got interested in Xenoblade a year or so back. In early 2012, I heard people talking about Shulk and Xenoblade, but I didn't look into it that much. So I put this Shulk guy into a large (unrealistic) roster of mine.
I then decided to do research, and I looked at the wiki a bit. I saw that it was related to Xenosaga, something that I also didn't know much about, other than this character called Kos-Mos that some people put in their Smash rosters. I wondered whether I should stop doing research on Xenoblade, seeing as I thought it was a third-party game like the other Xeno games, but decided to keep learning.
I lost interest for many months due to focusing on other things and moving to a new town, but I decided to continue learning about Xenoblade in December 2012.
The visions and Monado and large areas were cool, but finding out how the setting took place on the bodies of two giant titans really got me interested.
I didn't want to spoil myself any more, so I left the wiki and watched a walkthrough of Xenoblade on YouTube.
I ended up with a story about
deception,(D!ckson) vengeance,(Egil) and an ordinary scientist who destroyed his/our universe and became a god.
So yeah, I've wanted Xenoblade content in Smash for a while. Wasn't sure if Shulk would be worthy of being playable, or just as an Assist Trophy, but I obviously wanted a playable character.
TGS is the Tokyo Game Show, an anual trade show for game devs.
One problem is that, Nintendo never attended TGS, and they won't attend this one. In fact, since they started doing Directs they never attended any show that isn't E3.
Man, does anyone see "Roi Lion" as top comment on Chugga's Xenoblade Let's Play episodes 6 and 7? Can someone please report or talk back to him? He's an annoying jerk for deliberately spoiling stuff, and his attitude sucks, like a lot. He has a lot of subscribers, and some of his videos even reach a million views, so he's probably going to stay on the top comments later on. I could talk back, but I don't have the balls to even do it. :s
The "My Nintendo News" twitter account was just tweeting about Shulk in Smash Bros Wii U/3DS and my heart skipped a beat...then I realized that they didn't know anyone can edit at the IMDB site...arghhhh

Hmph, I've talked back, but I'm not entirely certain this guy isn't just a troll and that replying was a waste of my time. His comment on episode 7 thankfully isn't bad, maybe he's just a massive jerkoff and talking back might actually do some good. If he keeps on deliberately spoiling huge stuff maybe someone with a Twitter/Facebook account could ask Chugga to block him.

Truly, the worst kind of human. I REALLY hate when people use "Hurr durr the gaem came out liek two years ago" as an excuse for them to literally go around being major douchebags.
I will say that watching Chugga's playthough showed just how badly I've been playing the game. I spent the entire time fighting creatures as the sole source of play and advancing the plot. Only one or two quests were completed, and I barely touched gem crafting. At least I'm still not finished (stuck at the initial pass through Sword Valley), so maybe there's still a chance to "redeem" myself or something.
I called my local Gamestop, and they happen to have two copies of Xenoblade. I'm gonna be picking it up tomorrow. (unless some jerk shows up and buys both copies before the store opens)

Heheh, oh, it's alright. The first time I played the game I completely ignored sidequests and instead grinded if I needed to. I didn't understand the skill trees at all, so I kind of tried to use them occasionally, but mostly I ignored them. The only thing that carried me through the game was my vigorous gem crafting, and even then I didn't realize that I could try and get specific traits out of the gems. At least I understood armor well enough. XD

I. I hell. I just clicked on the episode 6 link without reading the rest of your message, and I spoiled my self. I've only played the first 20 minutes of the game.
