I've seen some cutscenes of Shulk in Xenoblade, and in the 2 I've seen he just keeps on mentoining 'the power of the Monado'. Which I now am obligated to immitate everytime I think of Shulk. Including Australian accent.

So, I don't know if you guys have seen this yet, but I have found a ridiculously bad/hilarious fanfic with Shulk. Have anything you guys heard about the legendary Smash bad fic "Mishonh from God"? This is the 'sekwel' from the author herself.
And Shulk's a lead character.

It's coming out on the New 3DS, which is a console upgrade with better specs. The old 3DS and 2DS can't run Xenoblade Chronicles.

Hey, I'm curious: How many of you have read the Xenoblade Chronicles Iwata Asks? I found the discussion about how they created it very interesting: apparently they started by designing the Titans and sculpting them.

I thought it was really interesting. Tbh, it's been ages since I've read any Iwata Asks. I need to replay Xenoblade Chronicles before Smash 4. Need to hype myself up before I main Shulk.

My personal order of Best > Worst AIs
1. Seven: AIs like to auto-attack, and Seven is an auto-attacker by nature, so it works pretty well

2. Sharla: If you're low on health, the AI will heal you, and that's all that Sharla is supposed to do. If you want to use her as an attacker, then Sharla AI is god awful, but I have 0 attacking arts on her Also good because Sharla is necessary for harder battles, and if YOU control her, then you have to rely on a horrible AI to deal damage.

3. Reyn: Does a pretty good job keeping aggro. Damage output is horribly low compared to what I can do, and he almost never seems to use Magnum Charge. That said, he attracts attention so that I can destroy with Melia

4. Shulk: WASTE THE MONADO WHY DON'T YOU? The only reason I ever have Shulk as an AI is when I need the Monado powers (for visions and such), but I also need Melia for dealing damage

5. Dunban: Okay, but doesn't use his arts fast enough. Dunban has pretty low cooldown on a fair number of arts

6. Riki: Riki just isn't that great unless you want a gimmicky team like Topple Lock.

7. Melia: Melia's AI is SO BAD. Don't ever put Melia in AI, because it's a waste of a spot. Double Elec should always be kept up, and the AI very clearly does NOT do that. Not to mention, Melia should never be auto-attacking, which the AI seems to have a fetish with.

LORD, don't get me STARTED on Melia's godawful AI. Right now, I'm at Galahad Fortress with all of the Mechon. I've been controlling Melia nearly the entire time because she uses ether to attack, which means you don't have to worry about Shulk using Monado Enchant with her. And without Monado Enchant, only Shulk and Melia can damage Mechon. Shulk's AI is kinda... mediocre, but is nowhere NEAR as bad as Melia's AI.
And you just don't auto-attack with Melia. She is not meant for that, but the AI clearly never got the memo.
It's funny. At first, I was kinda bad with Melia. After discovering the AI was EVEN WORSE with Melia than I was, I focused on learning Melia's playstyle, BIG TIME. But now, she can kick so much Mechon ass... but only if the player controls her, that is.

I think it's the best looking choice for the series icon. A full-sized Monado shruken looks kinda weird to me.
Though I think if Xenoblade were to get a new rep from Chronicles X, the "X" logo would've been more appropriate as a whole, unless of course the Monado is going to make an appearance in X.

So I think it's fine.

Clearly, Metal Face has ascended from being a Homs Mechon to beyond a god, and the True Monado can't kill anything past gods.
In other words, needs more Topple lock.
Also, imagine the conversation between Dunban and Mumkhar.
Dunban: What's with all of the metal, Mumkhar?
Mumkhar: Well, I just thought that it would be nice, my old body was weak and pathetic.
Dunban: Okay, but don't turn traitor on us.

I doubt that Xenoblade will get its second character. I would be surprised to see another character besides Shulk get on the roster.

I'm just glad All-Star Mode was shown today since this tells me that what we see is the starting roster. So, I think Shulk will be playable from the beginning.

As a side note, I was pretty happy to see Shulk be featured in this pic:

We really have come far. Shulk is now amongst Nintendo's all-stars!
