I know mine have with this delay. How long has the team been on this thing now? And it still gets pushed back? I've lost a lot of interest because of this. Reggie should have never given us that date. I'm greatly disappointed.

Are you ****ing joking? It's a two motnh delay for a game that looks jam-packed with stuff. This will be nothing short of amazing. Two months is fair.

^True, especially with the super omega WAVE SPAM of GAMEPLAY videos that have been long overdue.

Yeah, the delay's disappointing, but Nintendo's doing a **** good job of soothing that blow.

Cry more?

Dude, okay, so they gave us a two month delay. In exchange for Sonic and more gameplay footage (and therefore, TONS of juicy info all at once) than we know what to do with. Even though everything at the conference was on embargo, Brawl was not, just to make it up to us.

And you're still not happy? People like you are the kinds that make me want to leave SWF.

I get upset when we get a crummy daily update every now and then, but come the **** on.

Eh... no. Why would a delay make you want a game less? I understand that it bothers you, that you're mad, that you don't like it... but to actually lose interest in a game you really want just because it was delayed?

Nah, not me.

We just got over 20 minutes of video footage (packed with LOADS of information) to go along with the revelation of Sonic and 2 more trailers. Yeah, my interest has gone down...

Videos don't do anything for me. The only thing that would get my interest back up would be a copy of the demo, but unlike other companies Nintendo doesn't release them.

Oh wow. A few extra months. Now you know how it feels to be a PAL gamer. Just suck it up, you all know the game will be better off with this delay in the long run.

I've kinda lost interest too, but not because of the delay but because of all the news they have revealed these past few days....

I wish they hadn't revealed much until the very end...I like surprises.

The videos don't do anything for you?!?!

You're going to be disappointed when you buy Brawl then.

Don't look at the videos then!

You guys are acting like February is FAR!....it's not really...I mean c'mon we get Super Mario Galaxy next month and that should last us til the end of Dec early Jan unless you play it all day everyday...then with that we can just wait it out like we've been doing...we'll still get our updates every weekday

remember when December 3rd was announced in July.......yeah

actually, my interest was waning BEFORE the delay. ;) not that i wasn't going to buy the game, but i was losing my connection to the hype.

but then...BAM! Sonic! i was so stoked i barely cared about the delay. sure, i have to wait longer, but i know Nintendo. if they're delaying it they have good reasons and it'll be worth it.

but then, today happened. more video than i could shake a stick at. TONS of new info.

and this game looks SICK! i really think this could end up being the best game i've ever played. it's a dream game. it's beautiful.

if you had told me 15 years ago that a game like this would actually exist, with all these characters, i'd have said you were crazy and it would never happen in my lifetime. but here it is.

there's no way i'll be missing out on this. it's monumental. and you know what? it's even better than we think it is. now THAT's rare.

Mine went down. But only because 2 days before that announcement I was actually thinking " 2 months? That's nothing...this game will be out and I won't even realise it." It feels like we've travelled back in time.

I'll give the SSBB team this... they know how to delay a game and still keep the hype up XD

Great point. They didn't say "We are pushing it back." and leave us with a dry spell on news and leave us depressed. Its more like "Hey, we have to push it back, sorry. Enjoy all this new stuff." And enjoy we did(are).

Look on the bright side, 2 more months of updates to predict..

Now that Sonic's out of the way, we can predict even CRAZIER things (with greater chances of them coming true!)

*applauds Nintendo Warrior*

Honestly man, this is getting on my nerves. I feel that Sakurai is taunting at us, laughing at us, and pointing at all of us that we aren't going to get a college break nor high school break and play this game during the winter.

My winter break plans are ruined.....thanks alot Sakurai! PRICK!

your obviously not a nintendo warrior if you cant withstand the delay!
no my intrist actually went up. idk why your getting all mad at nintendo for a mistake the makers of ssbb did not make. reggie is the one who said december 3rd not the developers. if you should be mad at anyone it should be reggie i think

Interest?

Nintendo's handling the delay well - Demo and Sonic, which gives some satiation to the Brawl hungry gamers.

The videos are quite nice... I love watching battles in action, though I'd love to get my hands on one of those demos...

But alas. I live nowhere near San Fran.

My only hope is to... hope they send demos everywhere.

Which they should totally do.

Seriously.

I'm not kidding.

...

Please?

It's disappointing that I won't be playing Brawl for another few months, but I definitely haven't lost interest.

Mine has a bit. I have a month-long winter break this year, and was hoping to be at my friend's house, playing Brawl so I could get started early and be able to play competitively. Now It's coming out 2 weeks into my second semester. All that practice time, gone.

On the bright side, we now know that anybody can get into this game. Not even half of the roster was revealed yet. If this release means that anybody from Golden Sun can get in, then I will gladly wait the extra 2 months.

My excitement went down a little. I'm still going to be checking updates daily ect. but I'm just not as excited anymore. A couple days ago I was like "it's not gonna be much longer" and imagining me and a couple friends the day it actually would come out and how we were going to be like, panicking. Then boom, two month push back. I kind of expected a month's delay when they put that it was TBD but two months is a lot longer than I wanted.

We're getting hit by a Tsunami of information and live gameplay video. And eventually, it'll be playable at several Wii kiosk( It's possible, right?). Nintendo is doing very well with the delay. For the first time, I actually feel more involved with Smash now more than I did when it wasn't delayed.

Thanks Nintendo.:)

Well it hurts people in school who are busy during fall and spring. Now it means I won't be able to play it but 1-2 hours a day while during Christmas Break, I could have played it more and had a lot of people to play multiplayer with me. Also during summer I work a lot so really Christmas break was only major time I had to play it. Looks like Sonic and Mario at Olympics is the game I will get.

Aww come on! The delay actually even spikes my interest way up!
Mario vs Sonic! The Fight I've been waiting for since 16-bit!
And a full fledged storyline where Mario, Link, Kirby, Pikachu, Sonic, Fox, Samus, DK, Yoshi and more have to join forces?! Awesome!
And just look at the gameplay footage and information we've had so far.
This game is pure epic-ness... I didn't have the chance to compete in tournaments (safe for one small-scale local tournament) for Melee, but I'll definately take my chance with Brawl!
The delay is for the better and it was already going to be an amazing million-seller!
As said before, if you told me a decade ago this game was gonna come out, I'd tell you you were crazy.

My interest only goes up each and every day. Finally a game where I can get my hopes up high and not be dissapointed.

Same here, man. It's about time we got some gameplay videos, even if the players are absolutely horrible. My interest has gotten way up. The delay isn't much of a problem to me. Just make the game excellent and we're good, am I right?! :)

My interest is going to be there either way, it just really hurts because of my schedule, but Sakurai shouldn't change stuff for one person...

Videos and all this info is means nothing if we never get the game. I wouldn't be surprised it its pushed back to Spring of 08. Sakura and his team had over a year to work on this game and still can't get it right? There's no excuse. They bit off more they could chew. This is Nintendo's biggest game and they can't even get it out the door.

So you'd rather have it incomplete, with less features, more glitches and bad stuff that they couldn't take out in time, and more things you wish they could've put in or fixed if they had time?

After working on it for a year they should already have those issue fixed. No excuse. They bit off more then they could chew. This game is gonna be pushed back even further.
