You're putting labels on things, and then making choices based on those labels instead of the nature of the thing itself. They aren't actually "gay activities," because they aren't homosexual. They are only associated with gay people, which is not the same thing. The fact that you call them "gay activities" with seriousness is enough to suggest latent or at least misdirected homophobia.
If you're just arguing semantics ("handsome" vs. "good looking") for the sake of arguing semantics when you already know full well what the intent of the topic is, then you're being puerile.
By my logic, he is if his main reason is not desiring to appear gay to others in order to maintain his "manhood" or whatever.

I'd reply Hyuga but I think it's pretty old at this point.
It has never made sense to me why frequent board posters waste so much of their lives judging whether threads/posts are good. Why do people give a **** about posting style so much that they waste their time commenting on it whenever they can? Bad posts/threads are usually over and forgotten about in a couple days, and then once they are addressed people just look for the opportunity to find the next post or thread that they can talk **** on. What a childish, useless game. This thread might suck because of me, but instead of making it better, all you guys can do is dwell on how bad it is (wasting all your time being critical of my posts rather than making good posts of your own). And that just makes the thread even worse because it gives me more reason to reply and do what I do (annoy the **** out of you guys and somehow completely distract from every thread I enter).

you're right, it doesn't add up logically and i can't actually argue against what you just said. i just find it a lot easier saying yes/no than choosing guys myself (aside from kouryuu) and i don't think that it's homophobic. this thread would've been a lot easier if you provided a name and then everyone votes on whether they think that person should be in the club (like in the original vid you posted). to me that seems a lot less gay than everyone making their own individual nominations.
like i said, thinking he's handsome isn't the gay part. anyone with eyes can say whether they think a guy is handsome or not. giving a yes or no answer is extremely easy. it's ranking candidates, comparing guys to other guys and choosing the most handsome that requires a closer eye for detail, and therefore, a much more severe degree of gayness. you must realize by now that this is a convoluted joke and that im just making these rules up, not basing them on anything.
