No, I do care about cheating, and I will tell you why...

1 - Most hackers don't care about the true gamers, and they hack all the pokes they want...while I have to tear my *** looking for some Feebas, some n00b just hacks a level 100 Milotic EV trained, 31 IV all the stats, etc...do they have some bad experiences with legendary pokemons...?
Where is the point on hacking a Darkrai? For what?

2 - Same with items...while I have to battle all the day to find a Dusk Stone with Pickup, some n00b just get it with a code...and then, the ***s brag it up to you...''Hehe, I have 999 repels''
I told him: ''Hehe, you lost precious time of your life hacking a useless item, *******''

3 - Where is my effort playing...? Some guy that could not get Tyranitar in Colosseum just takes its AR and goes hack it...no offense here, but if you cant get Tyranitar in Colosseum, you suck...I mean, you passed all trials, all the hard thing, and then, you cant get a single pokemon?? If it was hard, where was your masterball? You used it up in a skiploom?
I had a ****ing hard time getting the Tyranitar, so if you couldnt get it, isnt better to try it again like a decent gamer does? No
Go hack the thing...

No its because dont have f*cking colosseum anymore and I dont intend to rent it or whatever to get myself a Tyranitar.

People like you are utterly pathetic. And didnt I say I actually have been breeding that thing trough and trough until I got a Dragondancing Larvitar?

Do you know how many f*cking Charmander(Before you whine the Charizard was from a friends leaf green) eggs I needed to breed before I got a **** female one? Seriously shut the hell up, mr "pure gamer" So what if I AR'd 1 or 2 of my pokemon, they dont got hacked IV's/EV's/Nature's/Powers.

It was just a stepping stone.

Well 2 things:

1 - I'm not pathetic, I just play the games like it must be played: legally. If you hack, you can't probably play a game like it should.

2 - You say you don't hack your pokemon IV's/EV's/Nature's/Powers...how can I believe you?
You are already playing dirty...¬¬

By the way, to the shoddy guy: thats a good aport, and I prefer that to hack...I even use it to test, before I start creating a team, with effort.

i think cheating is appropriate to a certain extent.if u cant get a pokemon legit, i think u should be able to cheat to get a NORMAL POKEMON(NO SHINY NO MAX STATS ETC.).even though i beat a lvl 100 spiritomb with wonder guard and a max stat (999) lv 100 arceus on wifi >;D.but ya cheats like max stats or all legends, shiny pokemon, and stuff like that are unacceptable

That certainly was not called for. If you want to spend hours of boredom waiting for the fun part of the game then go ahead. Games were meant for entertainment and if this entertains you then it certainly isn't going to be bashed by us. However, when you said 'All hackers don't care about true gamers,' who called you a true gamer? What's the criteria for that? Am I some lesser being because I choose to catch a Tyranitar or Milotic easily and then train it myself? Is it unfair for me to want to spend my time doing something fun for me? Do I honestly want to battle 5+ hours just to get a Dusk Stone?

How are we not decent gamers? Just because we can't catch a T-Tar in Colosseum? We don't want a hard time from you, we just want to skip the tedium and endless rolling to get to our destination point.

All the 'true gamers' belong to a certain group of people: Elitists.

i dont think thats fun.i dont know why someone would wanna do that.i cheat in order to obtain things such as moves gained through breeding or fighting wild pokemon for ev training (cheated pokemon).I dont think that is too big of a deal but if people choose to max out stats or have a darkrai with spacial rend, dark void, earth power etc. then let them and dont complain about it.u play ur game, they play theres

I thought this thread died a year ago.

Cheating is perfectly fine if you want to save hundreds of hours from breeding, getting into every random conversation, and obtaining stuff. Even if you cheat, you wont get sued.

Sorry, but anyone in their right mind whole spends that much time on one game, is NOT a gamer, they are a professional and their is a clear difference...

Ok, if you think that skiping the game, is the fun part...
Most people think the story is boring and will skip it for the reason why most people just play 1-p mode in smash just to unlock everything, they're into the competitve scene and nothing more, those are professionals at work right there...

I don't play pokemon competitvely and probably never will, same with smash...

but tell me? How many other games have you played and beaten, and how many more do you think you COULD have been playing but instead you're trying to find a pokemon with decent IV's?

I'll take the efficent route....

Action Replay: For the Win

I'll go ahead and say that the Action Replay DS is THE must-get DS accessory. I've used it; now I have a Level 100 Darkrai and Shaymin on Pokemon Battle Revolution. 999x2 Rare Candies.Thousands of plates, 95x for all TM's.

But since it's not an Action Replay MAX, I haven't altered any stats. I've just used Max Cash to get a lot of Stat-boosters. Does this make me a bad cheater? Huh?

(Anyone who sees an AR in a store, normal or MAX, buy it, or else you'll have to wait a billion years to get Darkrai and Shaymin.)

I didn't even skip over anything in Diamond, except walking through Mt. Coronet the first two times with the Walk/Run Anywhere code. Anyone have an opinion on this?

(...And please don't flame me.)

My opinion is that you are doing a smart thing. Why wait to get what you need if it doesn't super-drastically alter gameplay? It's not like it gives you a super-awesome huge advantage that debilitates everyone else. Good recommendation!

Well, my Darkrai I had it from the japanese version, and then I had the Eigakan Version, so wasnt that hard, at least when you have friends....
And now the AR is the 'must have'...? Well, you're free to play as you want, but I don't think its the 'proper' way of playing...and is not about skipping the story, its skipping the supposedly fun of it, because hacking event pokemons is not fun, unless you are too obsessed to have them, enough to buy an AR...

I didn't hack my Darkrai; I just used a cheat to get from Full Moon to New Moon Island; specifically Walk/Run Anywhere.

By must-have, I meant I recommend it. A LOT.

How's hacking event Pokemon that you can't get otherwise not fun? Or in my case, getting them via a cheat, not creating them?

Just a note: I hate it when people type with "..." after near every sentence.
There should be no 'proper' way to play. Skipping the story isn't the issue at hand though. The issue at hand is that when people decide to go too far and hack pokemon with 999 in every stat and then take them into competitive battling. Hacking event pokemon is and can be fun. That's how I got my Darkrai, Shaymin, Arceus and such and I never ever use them in competitive battles.

For the Action Replay there is a code that pressing L+R will equal 493 master balls, the current amount of pokemon. Discard the amount of master balls to equal the pokemons number in the National Dex, hold L and run around in a patch of grass. Since Arceus is number 493, you just hit L+R and then hold L while in the grass and BAM Arceus!

LMAO, you win this thread.

And, to make this post less spammish, I don't care about hackers because I use Shoddy.
QFT. My last pro-shoddy post was pretty much ignored in the reposted gibberish that took place last summer. I wouldn't mind this thread so much if something new was posted.

Anyway, if you keep whining about hackers, don't play them. Or get Shoddy and stfu.

AR essentially ruins any online game.

I hope Nintendo starts policing its games when Smash comes out (they wont) because for every guy who uses his AR for good, there are 5 idiots who are only going online to screw with people.

Even in Animal Crossing, where AR added a ton to the game (putting pictures and such in that weren't possible before), there were still jerks whose sole purpose was to try and brick other people's cartridges.

Well moreso I think that people who don't use their ARs for harmful purposes are fine and shouldn't be persecuted. Otherwise it leads to us all being lumped into two categories and being treated as such, which shouldn't happen.

I have noticed that the AR can mess up your game in some instances. My favorite, though, is starting a new game with the cheat to walk anywhere on and skip getting a starter pokemon, walk to the lab, and the Prof will say: "My! your___________is already evolved?! Nice work! Do you want to give a nickname to your________________?" And if you say yes or open your pokedex any time after that, the game freezes. You can also escape from your rival by walking into the unkown zone. Ahhh, the glitches that can happen by being where you shouldn't be.
Also take notice of the small puddles that are in the trees if you walk into the unkown zone near the lakes. Wierd! And in Darkrai's little pond. if you stand on the ledge to the north of the pond area, your sprite gets flipped upside down. Fun!

But I bet all you guys already know this.
