Yeah, when you available and where do you live? Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday? Friday I believe Connor or JDM may be having something. In that case, anyone want to get together before the tourney to play a little?
1: Yep, there should be 3 power strips if everyone brings what they said they wouldFew ON-TOPIC questions because this tourney is actually looking pretty legit.
1. Is anyone bringing a power-strip?
2. Is anyone going to commentate /slash/ Will someone have the means to make commentating possible?
3. Low-tier or three-man crews would be amazing, we would definitely have time to do it assuming the tournament is run smoothly and all the TVs are initially used for Melee.
4. I will money match anyone who isn't Mango, Zhu, or Lucky. I have a lot of secondaries that I will use if you wish (we will iron out the details either here or at the tourney), you don't have to MM my main.
after reading this I began reading stabs rules.....4: Remember stab's (unexplained) rule that you can't really exchange money with other people within the venue, LOL
Be sure to keep transactions out of sight, outdoors preferable.
lmao6. There will be a man sitting at his desk in the corner. Please be both respectful of him and his stuff.
as far as I know, stab doesn't have any recording equipment...I definitely don't...lol rule 6 is very interesting
also, is zhu recording as usual? or are we gonna get someone else (better quality)
They do not, it's why we're planning to do tournament registration outdoors...mms will be tough to figure out, but just keep it secret or just exchange the actual money outdoors if you want hahadoes your father and the man in the corner know about the $5 entry fee?
1: There will be both n64s there and Wiis with s64 on them. We'll figure out the details for it once we know how many 64-capable setups we have available, but I do know that there will also be a couple n64s. Matches will be decided by player preferences and/or ladder positions (only problem I see is that a lot of people entering prefer their matches on the wii...), so I don't really know what to say to that at this point. We will try to avoid that situation as best we can, but there are no guarantees.IMPORTANT QUESTIONS ABOUT 64
1) are any tourney games being played on the wii? (I was once forced to do this in 64 tourney even though i brought a legit setup, I want to make sure it wont ever happen again before signing up)
2) Is there stage banning in 64?
so all i get is a "youre amazing"?? lolI'll wear a sexier hat. <3
Anyone who can convince Mango to go to this is amazing.
The first match is selected randomly excluding Yoshi's Island, Sector Z, Planet Zebes, and Mushroom Kingdom.
lol thats what i said until i read some postsStabby is in grev now? How come no one keeps me updated bout this stuf
word? which ones?lol thats what i said until i read some posts
I would like to commentate if people don't mind.2. Is anyone going to commentate /slash/ Will someone have the means to make commentating possible?
I think we need more than three.1: Yep, there should be 3 power strips if everyone brings what they said they would![]()
I dunno, it seems pretty legit. I think 30 should be a safe estimate. 40 and we're talking as big as any non-major tourny gets. This tournament still doesn't SEEM very big (my guess is around 30-35 tops), but it's still hard to say though.
**** yesalso...we're gonna see how this one goes, but there's a possibility that this may become something along the lines of a monthly or a triweekly if it goes well?
I doubt anyone minds, we'd be happy to have an actual commentator who knows what he's talking about.I would like to commentate if people don't mind.

Smashwiki is always wrong, don't rely on it for anything.10 minute time limit, if it is possible, most emulators don't have time limit
If Saffron City is selected on the first round and one of the players is using Ness, he or she may request a re-pick.
However, if the Ness player wins the match, his/her opponent may counterpick Saffron City.
Due to the low number of allowed stages in this game, this is often weakened to the loser cannot choose the stage on which the last match was played.
