When will the events be held during the day?!?! I'm guessing doubles->singles->crews or something similar?!???

registration at 1-2pm

singles -> doubles -> crews

Is Crews a definate!??!

yes!

If so how will crews be structured?!!? DRAFTED BY THE TOP PLAYERS OR SET GROUPS and will there be a prize fund!?! Will it be run in a round robin setting?!?!

Top 4 in singles will be captains, picking from lowest to highest.
ie 4th picks first, 1st picks last

no entry fee or prize.

Will there be a break in between events or milestone parts of events for lunch breaks?! If so are there any pretty decent takeaway joints or even better something with healthy food near by!?!?!

15 min break between pools and brackets

30 min break between singles and doubles.

dinner

crews

i spoke to dan (umpa) and he said they might be going just there was issues cos of housing etc just on sat night. the onyl coach on saturday would arrive to near 4pm. i have my own housing sorted up there for the friday night. i told dan the info on that which he will let me know if they can.

rooofl i'd much rather play doubles before singles, mainly because thats what happens at every other tournament, lol

. EDIT: I think thats the registration order Z, not the actual on-goings of the events, I think doubles comes first, but everyone registers for singles first. :S

@Craig: LOL it doesn't take that long to get used to, only like a game or two. I don't like the N64 version to be honest because I can't play with the spaceship controller (N64 controller) the gamecube one basically feels like the melee controls with a few button swaps.

I actually can't wait for this either to be honest, especially the trip down, rooofl. 23:30 to 4:30 with the lads, my god.

monty, people stay at the venue all night, and leave whenever. Some people get the coach between 3-6am, some people leave at 9 am etc. just do what you want :)

Reggae Reggae chicken, with extra cheese and extra reggae reggae sauce is the best sandwich type product ever invented.
I agree lol.
I hope to get in some games with you at this event as I dunno how Bullet Bill has pu you across to me and you need to see the amazingness for yourself. Mainly for the banter though, dont you agree?

Why are singles first lol. Doubles is usually first so I dunno why the tournament director is being difficult and changing things up lol.
Might iswell have crews first then singles then doubles if you're gonna be full out different.
Rofl i have to agree to be honest, I don't like singles being first either. :S
I dunno why though I just don't. Probably because it's different. :S
Why are you doing singles first Ant? :/

Its true lol, the change is pretty unecessary and it just changes the natural flow of how things usually run.
Its not a big issue but at the same time its pretty annoying an plus I like to take doubles as a time to warm up before singles and people care less about doubles lool.

not sure...

could it be for this picture?

Ahhhhh I see.
I was disturbed about it but now you have cleared things up for me.

well i was running it this way as a test. just to see how things go. also it was for amcd as he wouldve had to go after singles, but now hes not even attending.

Edit: I actually agree with prof on the warmup thing lol. If we were running it for Alan, and hes not attending, why continue it this way? :S
Yeah thats what I'm saying.
Friendlies is a warm up but doubles is a warm up in serious play so I want to be on my A-Game for singles and i'm sure other people do lol.

So any chance in it changing Aiko, since the main reason why it was change was for AmcD he isnt coming anymore so no reason to change things up baby.

I'll just use pools as warm up. There are plenty of events that put singles first, predominantly large events that run over 2 or more days, thus dedicating the whole day to singles. The registration period is an hour long and there will be quite a few pools matches so I think that is substantial warm up.

Saying that I don't actually care either way!!I guess this way singles won't run into the night when no one can be arsed actually so I'm gonna be bold and agree with Ants stance.

Grayfox: lool the event isnt that big to the point it will run into the night, last event it did not run into the night and things ran smoothly. I dont think there is a point where people will be in the state of mind like they dont care anymore lol. Things will be fun and fully hyped from start to finish, as long as with have the banter by our side.

Aiko: Ok, thanks for the acknowledgement.
