on yoshies story near the right edge i did, down throw, down throw, dsmash and then drop off dair and i landed on the cloud and it probably saved me from losing.

back throw is also good for gimping, theyll usually try to side b back so you can f tilt them and dair them.

im just wondering what ideas you guys have, or how do you guys gimp fox. its definitely possible, a little difficult but you just gotta make a few good decisions and you got em

im pretty sure im tho only one thats ever tried it on him.

My friends can shine out of down throws on reaction, doesn't really work, also I habitually DI away expecting up throws so I get out of dthrow anyways. However this DI makes backthrow a chain vs Falco so there are still some good grab options if you can predict DI very well. Back throw off the edge won't give you a gimp vs good fox's, honestly just getting them below the stage and landing a dsmash seems to work best for me. Spikes are fine gimps if its their last stock, other than that I'd say about 90% of my kills are from dmsmash edgeguards or bairs.

Hm I see. Well as a Fox player what gimps me hard at times are the lasers when I am off the stage. My foe normally snipes me and forces me to return with Fire fox below the stage. But other then that, the kills Binx mentioned are also common methods I encounter and utilize against other Foxes and Falco.

why worry about how to gimp a character that you can regularly combo from 0 to 50%+ on just about any stage?

I'd say that most of my "gimps" on fawks involve running off the stage, fast fall -> DJ Nair to hit their illusion and then dair them once they're below the stage, but since I mostly play against very very good foxes, I don't get many gimps.

well it helps when your down by quite a bit. i sd alot, and my tech skill isnt exactly where it should be right now. i just picked up falco yesterday after not playing for 3 months. well i had played twice but only with falcon. so yea, it just helps me when i need it most.

and the gimp i did, my friend was at 7% and i grabbed him and he was dead at 45%

they also can just grab you back, lol. it's best as 1 dthrow to regrab on people who instinctively try to tech and thus end up in shield (or to dsmash at over 110% LOL @ old skule comboz!!!)

The bulk of Falco's moveset can gimp Fox if you rob him of his double jump.

I've seen Dope B-throw --> low angled F-tilt and it seems okay.

I would like to state for the record that I had no idea Falco could even do that. I've been on the Falco end of that matchup for a long time, and never did that nor did I even think it worked. I've also never had it used on me at tourney, mostly because people think better of my intelligence not to try such dumb ****. But yeah, this doesn't work on me.

yea max im gonna put them up, its just alot of time since theyre in HD i gotta convert them and then convert it again into HD, it takes a while. theres 2 up now
