Ran I am really confused by how you're handling Xonar if you don't think he's scum. Because the things that you are saying REALLY insinuate that you think otherwise.

Spell it out for me, what's your read on Xonar, and what's impacted it up to this point.

K. I think Xonar is half assing his reads. His slot has done NOTHING the whole time, so him coming in to attack JTB with some slap stick reasoning might make him look better, to avoid being lynched (because he was in that position). He even confirms that he is trying to look less scummy.

I felt it was too obvious for him to just do that as scum, so I took it as a slight town tell. Of course I don't like his laziness and I WANT him to do his own work, and not have others (like me) do his work for him.

I'm honestly pretty torn about keeping JTB alive after that claim. Yes, he's almost certainly scum but then there's the question of why there hasn't been like any ****in NKs. We know Banana did not correctly protect N1 or N2 since he would have died otherwise, and for Gorf to have been stopping a NK they would have had to shoot Banana's slot both times.

So what does this mean for us. Well for one, the only kill out there is probably JTB (and his faction's) unless he's lying about his results (and god I do not want to get into that WIFOM). If there is another faction, they only have a abductor AT BEST. And even then, why would they only abduct on N2? Maybe they work on every other night?

I'm rambling, but the core idea is that JTB is scum. The next questions we'd have to ask are:

-Who is he aligned with
and
-Is it worth keeping him alive on the chance he'll shoot who we tell him to.

The first question I'll address in separate post later today, preferably with EE's assistance. The second, I'm really feeling that keeping him alive is not worth it. JTB likely knows he's pretty much dead already, and in not lynching him we just give him a chance to potentially take two townies down with him.

What does that have to do with anything I said? It's pretty obvious that you want JTB lynched.

Building up a game plan for **** to discuss after the lynch isn't putting any strength behind the wagon. It just shows that you're sure that you want him gone at some point.

Your post doesn't show why he's scum. No reasoning at all. Why would killing Ryker & Kuz lead to scum? What has JTB actually done to be considered scummy over your previous scum reads without the claim being involved?

Xonar's probably in the same boat as I am right now. You look at JTB's claim and go 'riiiiiiiiiiiiiiight.' He's almost definitely scum barring some setup shenanigans on par with Lost mafia where the mafia faction didn't get a NK.

I do totally agree with him being lazy, but your method of pushing him makes it look less like you're trying to get him to take stances and more like you're trying to get him lynched.

No it doesn't. It just says that he's scum and that's it LOL. No reasoning or anything, and a role is not the only reason for there to be a scummy unless the role is obv scum (Vig is not).

Why are you acting like that's impossible? Having a scum team without a kill is very possible if we have 3 scum and an indy or two scum factions. 4 scum out of 13 players + 1 town killing role = Very possible. That's just one option, too. It's not impossible. You're pushing something without any reasoning.

No way in hell is there not a scum NK in this game. Not with a mod like Laundry who has a background in building setups. If you look at Lost mafia, Tandora got a TON of **** for not giving her mafia faction a NK because it robs them of any power to shape the game. They just sit there and kind of hope things work out for them.

So yeah, I'd go as far as to say its not possible that they don't have a NK. And its ASTRONOMICALLY improbable that scum has been blocked on their shots all 3 nights considering they would have had to shoot Banana N1, Banana AGAIN N2, and then Banana would either be shot directly or correctly predict their kill N3.

How the hell are you trying to dismiss this by prompting me to analyze his play too. Its no secret that JTB has been incredibly inactive and just pops in with little blurbs that don't really offer anything. Like this is something that almost every player in the game has vocalized at this point, and the fact that you seem oblivious to it is going to be a fun little toy if JTB flips scum. And spoilers, he's probably gunna.

I also know that Washed Laundry likes to have experimental set ups with odd roles. Don't BS through this with faulty mod logic.

It's not the fact that JTB has or has not been playing scummy in my opinion. It's the fact that NO ONE pushing him has done anything to comment on his actual play and how that makes him scum, and is pushing him just because he's a vig and because apparently Laundry would NEVER have mafia without a kill if there are 3-5 scummies in a 13 man game *shrug*.

Having a power role like a vig would explain the lack of posts since it makes you hard to read and makes the chances of mafia killing you smaller (since you're considered not a threat to them). Neutral on JTB's posting habits because of this. Could make him scummy, but it'd be a good way to post as a vig as well if people are pushing other people.

Fine with Xonar/Jupiter lynch and JTB shoot the other (assuming that the lynched one flips scum).

I'm still Commander Stryker Assistant #1 (the blonde one), but I'm Town Laser Reflector, not flavor cop. (no really: I'm serious)


In other words: I'm vanilla since my main job is solely to LAUNCH IT, except for I'm prepared on the off chance a wild laser comes charging at my person, in which case I'll deflect it (Washed's phrasing is lol)

I've yet to determine exactly what that entails: but I mostly suspected it was a red herring role from Washed. Either that or the vig (who I initially assumed would be the Green Gigabot laser) wouldn't touch me.

She could have just been highly believing of me, but I didn't think that was it, it was too unlike her to post that. (she likes to joke about Batman because college humor vids that are totally amazing, but I've never known her to ever mention Robin)

It struck me as funny, so when I did a re-read of the section after the John claim dust settled I examined it a little harder. That's when I realized John didn't claim back-up vig like my mind paraphrased it to be: he claimed sidekick. Hmmm

That's a mighty big coincidence, more than I'm willing to accept as so. But the real deal clincher came when I was pressuring Gorf the next day and looking for opinions since I wasn't willing to let him just slide by. When Meow chimed in on the matter, she had this to say:

And we all know how that went down. There was no way those were both coincidence, so I took up the flavor cop guise with the assumption she was an investigative role able to peg these, hopefully giving her another day out of the spotlight and therefore not murdered. I figured with laser reflective powers I'd at least be a slightly better target for death since I wasn't going to be directly helping if never targeted, if we got lucky maybe scum would even die from it. (thus: no doc on me requested at end of day)

Considering Gorf flipped Jailer, I highly doubt my gambit was in vain. Now I guess we just wait to see exactly what kind of help she is and what she has for us today.





Beyond that: Since I'm laserproof, my idea for the rest of today was to point the laser pointer at me and see what happens. That way if it's a death ray in disguise because Washed is a troll there's at least a good chance it's going to bounce off and not kill me.

@Xonar: I don't know how much of this is legit you not reading, and how much is you being... quizzical. But let me clear some things up for you that you need to know at this point:

There are two characters in Gigabots with the last name Stryker: Pheonix Stryker the red gigabot pilot, and his father Commander Stryker. BOTH of these are confirmed dead at this point.

Murder CC'd Bardull when Bardull claimed Commander Stryker Popcap Vig. Then right before the flip of Bardull, claimed he was actually Phoenix Stryker and a cop. Bardull flipped Popcap Vig Commander Stryker as claimed.

After Murder's death and flip of "????", Gorf flipped Phoenix Stryker Town Jailer when we lynched him. Murder is confirmed scum or indy for being so ridiculous.
