You don't play competitively a lot do you?

You dont use marth a lot do you? Grabs are nice and all but they only work on opponents who are playing very defensively. Getting a grab in with marth is very difficult and very risky. Using shieldbreaker is a lot safer and just as effective.

If you pressure an opponent into their sheild with well spaced dtilts, you can get grabs fairly frequently. Shieldbreaker is a decent move, but it's recovery use is very predictable and is not as practical as a grab, in my opinion.

A move that telegraphs =/= predictable. I catch ppl with random shieldbreakers on occasion (ergo its predictable if use it in a predictable manner). But either way, my point was to say that marth has other moves that >>> his grab.

And that is why I didn't rank his grab first: I know he has better moves, but I firmly feel shieldbreaker is not one of them. Yes, if you use it randomly you can catch people, but it's like that with every move including counter. You can grab people somewhat consistently (moreso than SB) and with one of the better grab release games of the cast, he can punish most opponents with it.

Eh... ok, grab is a little better than shieldbreaker (just barely, only because it goes thru shields). I dont mind anyway since its just a list.

I actually don't know how the hell I forgot about Fair. That pushes Counter down on my list.
