It's tourney time again peoples. This is at an actual location, not at the ********* HQ. Ive decided to name our tourneys Brawl Wars every time, with a different subtitle each tourney

Dave's Stupid Rule = Can't choose a stage you've won on in the set. If the other person doesnt know about Dave's stupid rule, oh well.

*Note: I removed PS2 and Norfair, because I personally dont believe they are suitable counterpick stages. Anyone can tell me if they have a blatant problem with that, and we can discuss it.

Fees:

Singles: 15 per person
Doubles: 20 per team
$5 door fee (no one likes pot ****, so we gonna go the door fee route)

Singles: 65/25/10
Doubles: 65/25/10

Other Info:

-This is a really nice place and I know you guys will enjoy it. Very spacious, a few nice TVs, a pool table, and a foosball table. By the start of the tourney, they also may have air hockey. Theres a KFC/Long John Silver basically right out the door. We should have pizza available for 2 dollars a slice onsite, but its a niced sized slice, so its worth it.
-Of course, caravaning services from Orlando will be in effect for my car. I hope other cars make their own carpools and come to this too. There are alot of people who live within an hour of the tourney location that can house people if you ask them. Get with me if you need housing, and I'll talk to them for you
-If enough people are interested, I will also host a $5 Foosball tournament . I really hope enough people are interested, as foosball simply the ****
-Make an effort to come out to this guys. Its two weeks after gigs so it gives everyone ample time to recover their wallets (or purses Gingerr). If you come, I will host more here, because you will love the place, I guarantee it. Think of it as the size of gigs...times two or three, and many less annoying computers in the way.
-Finally, for the love of god...BRING WIIS AND TVS. DO IT. PLEASE GOD DO IT.

Oh, and this can't be stressed enough: This is a very nice venue. There is plenty of space. Think Gigs, times four... with less computers... and a conference room. It's actually about three times bigger,... but that's also an estimate by just eyeballing it.

SFL needs to come to this, the last one would have been bigger if yous guys would have come...

It's on the coast of FL, of course there are beaches.

I'm not a huge beach person (grew up here so they're not that amusing to me anymore, lol), but there are several beaches within a half hour or so to choose from. I don't have any particular preferences or suggestions though. /shrug

That reminds me. We had component cables for the TVs that had lag issues last time (the ones in the middle of the floor on the rolling thing). Did anyone notice any problems with lag on those? It should be all cleared up with the cords switched and the settings changed to support it.

I personally didn't notice any in the little while I spent playing melee on one of them, but if anyone felt differently let me know.

Anyway, the venue has 4 TVs readily available, and I believe Rich has one more he can bring from home if we're desperate in need of more.
