House fee + percentage taken out of pot = you're greedy. Alex's is on the same day. You should seriously consider Sunday tournies.

I'm a weekly event and I wish the best for anyone else hosting. The idea of a weekly is whether it is posted early or late it will be every Saturday. I think people that have come to my store for 5 weeks straight may have picked up on that one. And there will ALWAYS be people that won't make the trip down to a far place. The two venues can I share the wealth I personally have no problem with it. But I'm not dumb I know NYC's tourney will surpass me in numbers, but LOL the thing I always problem it people will still leave having fun.

Thank you gaming world. I live like, exactly in the middle between Princton and NY. And they're both like wayyy to far for me to ever get to. Thankfully to you, I have somewhere to play brawl alot and I really thank you for it because I've gotten alot better now playing people a lot more than once every 2 months. Now I'm playing once a week!

I think your one of a bunch of guys that can't really go far and this is a perfect place for, but the show will continue.

For everyone else we could use some Wiis.

The last tournament I went to here, I got reprimanded for cursing. I mean, that did nothing to stop my rampant display of disrespect and vulgarity. Now, you're cursing at me with this outrageous house fee and % to give me a DS that I already have? I'm gonna go with eat me.

You're crooks. I understand you should make money, but your venue is such garbage, I'd pay to play outside in the cold instead.

I'm giving you an ultimatum, GamingWorld. Either you make your tournaments not suck my **** into the wind, or I will run something everytime you do, and I'll pay out of pocket to make sure I give more, for less. That grumpy son-***** who owns the card show left a taste in my mouth of that of old cigars and raw meat. I don't like either of those things.

There wasn't even a spot on the floor for me to sit. Lame.

Obviously you don't read cuz the next tournament has changed and doesn't have a DS in it. You need to show some level of respect when you go to any tournament. The house fee does not mean you now are free to do or say whatever you want I mean you do have kids that attend these events and on top of that there was like a 12 year old at this one, and every third word you said was some type of curse. Of all the tournaments that I've attended I've never seen anyone like you, you have to show some level of respect if your attending an event. It's funny that you sensor yourself in these forums cuz you have to but at an event that your asked too, you wouldn't.

I censor myself? When the hell do I censor anything. And how ****ing irresponsible are you?!?! A 12 year old? You silly *******, this game is rated T for TEEEEEN.

Also: I don't have to show any respect. I pay a house fee to play in your house. And my warning stands. I run the best **** in town. Hell, Enemy Controller had to run your brackets. You people can't do anything without them. And they'll surely follow me over you. They also recruited new people, and they will go where their crew goes. Step it up, or I'll step you out.

These forums automatically sensor. If you type out a curse, it'll display astricks.

But, don't take DM too seriously. It's just his way of saying he wishes there was more space, and he thinks your house fee is a bit much. It's just his offensive, yet hilarious and lovable style.

Personally, I'd prefer a lower house fee, but I understand the store has to make money, and it's too convenient of a location for me to complain that much. Just ban Pokemon Stadium 2, and buy maybe like 10 more chairs that you can put in the back, and you'll get no sympathy complaints from me. I'll probably start doing good enough to make money so . . . lol, yeah, I can't say much.

I also wish there was more space in the venue, but I can't complain about this really, as I can't think of any suitable solution. Is there anyway to move one of the shelves surrounding the play area?

Let's compare:

Inui's Space: HUGE. 6-10tvs. Plenty of chairs. Cool hosts.

LamingWorld: Small. 3 usable tvs. No space for chairs or people. Lazy hosts, and a grumpy old man owner.

I'm not even going to argue w/ you. Not sure what makes us lazy especially when others see the extra effort that we do try in people enjoying themselves.

Let's compare though:
Events we had without you: about 10-15 vulgarities are heard throughout the day.

Events we had with you: about 10-15 vulgarities are heard from you about every 10 minutes.

i didn't know the first part. The PS2 was recommend i think by Inui, because if I remember he's the one that gave me the stage lists that he thought to be fairest. There are ideas to hopefully make it a little roomier but at the moment I'm not sure if it'll be near future. But I'll see what can be done.

What are you? Like, 9 years old? God, you're house must not have had HBO. Or... Any channel with NYPD Blue playing.

And what effort did you put in, besides... Well, nothing?

Well gee good golly gosh dragon master, I sure wish you didn't have to say such naughty words in public! Think of the children!

Seriously though, what kind of ****ty parent would dump their kid off at a game store.

Also, Inui's venue is probably waaaaay better than your's dude. I know you gotta defend your shiz and all, but seriously. Tournies aren't supposed to be day care centers. Don't get your panties in a bunch because someone said fu.ck in a tourney.

dm if you host tournies again I'll support you 100% :D

Alright, so who's going to this one?
I'll probably not go to this again, sorry. I'd love to see ya again, but I have to step out this time.. Kinda sucks. I -really- hope I can come on Nov 1 or whenever it is.

The cursing thing I'll actually have to side with DM a bit more.
I think that if there are little kids present, he should cut down to maybe one curse word per sentence.
Honestly. Cut down a -bit- when kids are present.
However, it's not his fault ya know for how he speaks.
Some people require it or feel more comfortable. Also, to counter anything about small kids. What kind of parent let's their kid be dropped off near a highway game place?

I'm still in the 'it's a decent to good venue'.
Thirty people or so is the comfort level at max, as far as I remember.
TVs suck, but whoever cares (most good people) will opt for the single 'good' tv.
The guy who runs this thing, the one posting now? He's awesome in my book. Sure, he may not be 'knowledgeable' with a bunch of stuff, but he knows most of the needed things.

Uh, horrid move for him to pay money to the owner for the 18th, if he did.

I had more to say, but I forgot.

LOL, I'll go into a detention center, but only if you put dm through some sort of vulgarity rehabilatation center.

i'm definitely not one to say that I don't curse, heck i even have let a couple slip during tournaments but i know how to hold back. Oh and personally I'm more of a Showtime kind of person. And I'll take Law and Order or CSI over NYPD Blue but still don't want to argue w/ you
all I have to say is do u know how to spell your own store? isn't it Gamiingworld not GamingWolrd???? what is Wolrd is that how NJ spells it? LMAO just had to point it out.

Old joke is old.
Besides, I refer to it as 'Gaming Wolrd' on purpose now because it makes it seem more 'unique' rather than just another gaming world.

I assumed that was on purpose bro.

Anyway, I will be heading to Blue's event this week as well. As for the swearing I don't have a side, I don't really care but I understand both sides. GW your a cool guy but in the future you should take some of the suggestions that inui or others suggested about pricing and apply them. I do like the setting bc the events are fast but they won't even happen with events like Blue's, Alex's, Knightmare's( Don't know how these will be but probably big) and Inuis going on. I still hope everything goes well though and when blue isnt hosting his circuit or another big event isnt happening i would like to go back.

That's funny cuz I was talking to Chibo last night and he told me the secret to help lag. Everyone before him always just told me that I need component cables and that will help, no one ever said that you have to also change the display settings on the Wii to take advantage of the component cables. So even though I don't notice it, for next time they should all be better.

yea, dm's right lol. i told him the secret to help it, but even with progressive scan enabled, i still can't stand it lol. it didn't seem THAT bad at first, but when i noticed after the tourney that every match the entire day i won was on the single lagless tv, and every match i lost was on the laggy tvs (even with prog scan on), i knew something was up lol.

though wii with comp cables vs wii with comp cables and prog scan is still quite noticeable, but still not near wii with any cables on sd/edtv lol

The next circuit event, like the one held here last week, will now be help at Enemy Controller's Venue:

The Palmer Inn
3499 Route 1
Princeton, NJ

Bigger venue, better TV's, awesome-r hosts.

And that much harder for me to get to. Bzam!

before somebody says I don't matter, that's more money I'm giving the winners if I'm there.

Some one help me get to princton. I'm stuck at gamingworld where nobody goes to anymore.
I'll still go to Gaming World on occasion. Just not this weekend cause of Blue's thing.

It sucks that you live so far up north cause I usually car pool people but you're pretty far :(
