Why must you make me choose? Er... Miyamoto. He gave us so many of the characters that are in Smash Bros, Sakurai would have near to nothing if it weren't for Miyamoto. It just wouldn't be the same.

Shulk, absolutely Shulk. I really love the Earthbound series....but if it came down to it I would have to pick Shulk. My reasoning would also be that smash would still have Lucas so it wouldn't be as much of a loss as if we didn't have Shulk. I'm trying to be diplomatic here too. :p

would you rather have team rocket pokemon trainer, or random generation trainer (like gen 2 starter, gen 4 starter and gen 6 starter)

Tough... But I'm gonna go with Ratchet and Clank. Ratchet's arsenal might even beat out Mega Man's, and Clank's pretty sweet. 'Sides, Link and Zelda fulfill the pointy-eared quota already. :D

Stanley. I think it'd be much easier to fit in his essence than it would be to fit the Balloon Fighter in while staying true to the feel of the character.
Also, I kind of like the idea of someone who's constantly puffing enemies away.
