As most of you may know, for quite a while, I was a member of both the Smash community and SRK. While I don't really consider myself part of the Smash community any more, as I don't play Smash now, I am friends with/know of most of you. So, when I was presented with the opportunity to share this particular idea, I told them that I would be the spokesperson.
Iceman, one of the guys that runs ATL Revival and Impact Clash tournaments, wanted to find a way to actually help support you guys a little more, and to do so, he wanted to do a few things to help you guys become more of a part of the GA gaming community. So, at the next ATL Revival, which is June 26th, I believe, we will be doing the following:
We will be giving the winner, along with their normal prize money, paid MLG registration, if they are not registered already. This also means that, since Tekken and Brawl are on the roster, whenever ATL's Tekken scene goes to an event, the MLG registered Brawl players are free to travel along. Also, to help get you guys into the community more, we will be accommodating you guys on the LiveStream as well with respectful commentary.
Basically, since you guys represent GA as well as the SRK and Tekken guys, we feel that, as a community, we should come together and show everyone what GA can do on all fronts. All interested parties please post in this thread so we can have a general count of who is interested. Because, of course, none of this can happen without your expressed interest.
