Tier list's change. Metagame's change. Characters develop. Other characters develop to adapt. As it looks right now, the SBR tier list seems at least IMO good. This is what I think the list will look like when Brawl reaches its peak:

I know what you mean about bannanas, but the Diddy should be in control of them. He knows when they come out. He should maintain their control. He is also (correct me if I'm wrong) the only one who can do single Naner lock.

I hate Olimar so much as is....

I'm assuming this is after the SBR finally votes to have Sonic banned from competitive play.

Snake= I know Ally's good and all, but...
Diddy Kong= Too high. He's good, but it's easy to exploit his weaknesses.
Metaknight= M2K doesn't lose more than he beats Ally. Ask him about the countless matches they've played together. And he's top for a couple of reasons time won't really wash away.
Pikachu= On what grounds? How many Pika mains do you see taking the top spots thanks to his buffered cg's? Not even Anther, my friend, since landing grabs at top levels of play is pretty difficult UNLESS grabs are fundamental to the character's gameplay. He is lower than this.

King DDD= Too low. He's on top for a couple of reasons right now, and they can't really be ignored: Lives forever, infinite chaingrab, killing power, range, and multiple jumps. I'm probably forgetting a couple, but you should know what I mean.
Falco= I agree that he should be lower but not THIS low.
Marth= Hmm... Maybe a bit higher than this, he has the potential to be one crazy character. Spacing properly means he's going to tipper you with disjoints, and just running into him means he'll punish you for it. You really are disadvantaged against him if your character doesn't have mid-range attacks or better.

Fox= Too high. He can't reliably kill, except with an usmash.

Game and Watch= Definitely goes higher than ROB, that's for sure.

Zero Suit Samus= WHAT! You seriously haven't played any good ZSS mains if you think she should be this low. Try gimping her or juggling her. I dare you.
Kirby= Another "WHAT!" reaction. He has a better time spacing, killing, moving around, has multiple jumps, gimps better than the majority of the cast, has a great grab game, and strings hits. And did I mention his fsmash is simply ********? Not the best, but still a true fact.
Lucario= Too low. He merits being higher.
Wolf
Pit
Peach= Definitely needs to be higher, I know first-hand how tough of a character she can be at the highest levels of play.

"Highest possible level of human play" according to your visualization of how the game should play like. Fact is, it's flawed at various points. I'm probably failing myself at what I wrote, but I definitely know how some characters should be placed, and you have some real crazy positions in that there tier list of yours.

Edit: Lmfao! The post above mine is too awesome. Where, indeed, does Sonic disappear into? Is he too fast for this thread?

His bananas have always been a double-edged sword and it's only a matter of time before people really start swinging it for themselves. I'm convinced we're soon to "discover" a character/s much more adept at wielding them than Diddy.

Diddy will be taking a dive, much less 2nd place on the tier list.

If I'm not mistaken, Lucas has been either equal or above Ness in each of the tierlists, so I have no reason to believe that Ness will go up 3 or 4 places. It's not impossible, but unless Ness mains step it up (lol Sonic ban) then Lucas has the better chnce of being higher.

Game and Watch, Marth, Falco and D3 are too low, Metaknight shoudl still be top, and Fox isn't that good. Also, Link being better than 9 characters, or 11 if you count all PT's Pokemon is lulzy.

Yes. Really, please do not tell me someone is going to argue the IC's get a lot of **** ton of players just due to a good ranking. Half the reason Snake/Mk are so high ahead is due to a handful of players.

ICs don't get much representation, but the people that do use them in tournies do quite well with them. About the Kirby thing, Kirby gets ***** by like 4 characters. Game and Watch, Ice Climbers, Marth, Snake. He's not too great.


Also, this list is really bad.

Snake : He belongs in this tier, but not at the very top.
Diddy Kong : He should be down a tier. Nanners are a double edged sword, and players are learning how to implement nanners in their own character's game.
Metaknight : This placement doesn't bother me much, seeing as I see him fighting for one of the top three spots in the future.
Pikachu : This is the closest I've ever seen Pikachu to where I would place him. I think he will eventually become one of the top three characters in the game, as soon as a competitive player implements the 0-death and infinite as well as the chain grabs into the regular meta-game.

Wario : Too high. He deserves this teir, but not this high. People will eventually get over the "I CAN'T GRAB HIM!!!" phase.
Ice Climbers : Another character I think is a tad too low. This is the final character I see fighting for the top nod in the top three.

Falco : He should be the one at the top of this tier.
Marth : Needs to move up a tier.
