Wherever you want me to be... If you're female.
Haha well I was playing against a nooby Snake today, and he was spamming his upsmash. I was about to kill him so i was just playing around. And my ftilt ended up canceling the mortar launching thing from the smash. I tried it again(no video stuff here, :( ) and they both cancel out every time.

Is this useful? Probably not.
Is this new? I think so.
Does it look cool? Yes, it's ninja Zelda doing another cool looking trcik :chuckle:

no, it's not that it's useless, it's within the bounds of typical game mechanics. Moves that hit eachother clank. You've given one item of a 100 something item list of moves that clank with ftilt.

Sorry to sound mean.

Ha, Jiggypuff can dissentigrate the mortar with Pound with it's Fist of the North Star. Still, it is cool to see characters destroy an explosive harmlessly in such a way.

Does the 10% rule always apply?
No, i'm pretty sure it's more complex than that. I think Ankoku was just generalizing.

Each individual hit of Mach Tornado does very little damage, but many a move will clank anyway.

Din's gains priority as it gets bigger. however, decay doesn't seem to affect priority.

Hitboxen not explicity attached to a hurtbox will also tend to clank. EXAMPLES: Mach Tornado, Marth's jab, chain jacketed hitbox
