Who haven't you made a sig for? Seriously.

Forum monkey has nothing to do with post count
The point of the screen shot was to show that it really doesn't have anything to do with post count, or else the guy in the screen shot would be a nominee. Unless, you were not talking to me, Eor.

Hmm, wow, these polls actually turned out a big waste of time.

The vastness of this board hinders the overall relevance of these. The same 10 people are all represented, and it's just not effective or correct. I'm sorry, but like some people said, half of these nominees show NO qualities of some categores. It's just the people that are in the spotlight the most, which doesn't prove anything.

I certainly will not vote. It's my choice, anyway.

You're taking it way too seriously.

 I knew someone was going to say this, and yeah, it's partly this. Mostly it's the thing I said above, but you know the mods in EVERY category won't get my vote. ADDER FOR FORUM MONKEY!

You're taking it way too seriously.
It's all for the spirit of the forums...plus some people are getting on my nerves in the Brawl General Discussion. Enough with the speculation!

I wouldn't agree with Meta, but then again I'm nominated for Nicest and gimpyfish is nominated for Forum Games, despite never having posted there in living memory. Same with Mew2King

I was talking with Kiki and he said that people often don't read the definitions for the categories and it was assumed that Forum Gamer meant the best Gamer on this Forum.

Oh neat, another Best Writer nomination. But who am I kidding? I'll just lose out to Scav again. Somehow. Even though he's not in the running. That trickster!
I'm kind of sad that Scav's fairy pic didn't win..

and by sad I mean I'm going to hang myself with a belt

I've noticed something. Nearly for every category it's between Mic, Youko, and GimpyFish. I mean yea they are moderators and awesome, but shouldn't it be towards users who actually joined in the year 2007 that deserve the awards?

I mean I can see them being nominated in some of them, but really I saw there names in nearly every single category at least 5 times. That concerns me if it's just going to be a moderator awards ceremony for 2008 awards.

Oh, really, you saw their names listed 5 times in each category?

No I meant I saw their names atleast 5 times. One of them appeared atleast once in nearly 5 catagories.

Example:

Most Valuable. Youko & Gimpy Fish. That's One time.

Most Gregarious: Youko & Gimpy. That's Two times.

Most Helpful: Youko & Gimpy. That's Three times.

Yes and you get the picture. Somewhat came off wrong explaining. Basically I was trying to say I saw either Youko's name or GimpyFish's name in nearly all the catagories appear once. Either that, or someone who has been here from previous years.

Well, they earned it. People voted for them. Why are you complaining?

Because I felt it was more of a moderator awards then the users themselves. I mean, If you had moderator powers, it's almost inevitable to earn most votes in all those categories, simply because you have the power to. I'm not trying to make that big a deal out of it, Just my 2 cents.

I don't think people are understanding that more users voted than moderators.
You guys voted for us.

Complain to your peers :x

Eh no my issue wasn't with users voting vs moderators. It's just being a moderator, you are bound to become popular, thus setting you higher in votes easily.

This addresses another point. Since a moderator is usually overlooking all forums, they'd know who is "most improved", " most helpful", and what not. Being a user, they usually stick to one sub-forum. That means, that users who never leave their sub-forum, such as Pool Room, never gets to really see what user actually had potential. That is why I think a moderator should once in awhile choose, not vote, since they generally migrate.

Just a suggestion from other forums.

But attempting to "fix" that would be equally unfair. You just have to get over it.

Well in that case moderators and what not will win every year. But if that is how you/they like it, then I suppose nothing can be done.

But you are hoping for a paradox situation! If the community disliked this situation, they would clearly vote for non-mods. Obviously, the mods are people the community likes.

I'm not a mod, and I made it in. It just takes hard work.

Well I said moderators were in nearly all. not all.

Also, I don't know if you saw my edit or not.

Well I'd think a moderator would know for certain which user has changed overtime, But I guess it's an impossible situation and frankly not enough are even concerned or care, so I guess I just have to accept it for the time being..

until I open my siggy shop...
