I went to a bunch in the first month and I did well in all of them nothing great but placed in top 1/2 of bigger ones and top 10 in smaller 30 man tournies.

watched a bunch of the futile matches. he plays really well. Def. a good player but I am not sold that wario is overall at the top. I won't say he sucks though anymore. Futile has some sick spacing.

It seems like you don't have much experience in the recent Brawl scene. Im confused as to what you have to support your strong opinions on "Snake is going to stay best forever" Or "Wario is just OK not top". I'm not saying your wrong. IMO, it is still to early to tell then again Im just a smash nub.

majority of tournaments have been in orlando and with gas the way it is i dont have money to spend like that on this game unfortunately. moving soon, need to save. but I will prolly be at this saturday tourny at subzero since its relatively close for willvolution supporting The Will.

I would def. still MM but gotta be like 5-10 at this point if you are ever down south. I won't be in orlando before I move I know that much.

finch lost to me and afro in doubles that tournament too. dguy was lower, you were lower in singles than me. forgot about that, and I forgot about finch.

And the last 3 tournaments in Texas have been won by IC players. Two by me, and the most recent by Melee1. I wasn't at the most recent due to work XD.

In the end of Melee, Shiek Marth and Fox all ***** tournies evenly.

People played Fox to beat Shiek, Shiek to beat Marth and Marth to beat Fox.

Even tho all 3 of them beat eachother towrads the end.

I can't explain how happy I was when KDJ's Shiek beat Ken's Fox and Marth.

LOL, and then Mango won the last big smash tourney with Jigglypuff(he beat M2K's Marth and PC's Fox).

I stated who I was. Im honestly a smash nub. I simply wanted to know where you got your info, maybe link. Something, I obviouslly know less then you (And most) And I like to read concrete information in order to educate myself. I know nothing of the tiers. Futile does make warior look top of the tier list, however Ive gotten ***** by every character in this game. So against me anyone can seem top tier.

I was asking for information. More for myself. Seems like you got defensive, but I imagine it being from all the flaming thats been going on. Id just like to read useful input. EX: The things you know about wario makign him just OK (What are his cons, where can I read that stuff) To properlly debate you need to provide concrete statments. (Which seems like you have because you feel strongly about your opinions. Im just hoping you can share with the thread.)

I can elaborate on my wario statement if necessary. His lack of range, no projectiles, weak kill moves outside of f.smash and u.air, his neutral B can't stop most pressure games. He just doesn't have many answers to any of the CLEAR higher tier characters.

Yeah, I had read that. I was kinda hoping for a more detailed and in depth analogy of your Warior statement. Like possibly example of where he fails against higher tiers (I actually would like to know where most characters fail against Snake/Meta seeing as they are usually voted top 2) I figured I could go a do massive research, but I was hoping that this thread could kinda sorta be a one stop answer place. lol

Im having trouble "evolving" for lack of better terms. I don't seem to be getting better playing online. So I was hooping for information that can be useful to get better, and was kinda being lazy asking for it in a discussion on tiers (seeing as it will still be on topic and still discussin tiers and answering the "whys" behind peoples opinion.

As for where I live. I live in Hialeah/Miami Lakes. Like a street speperates me from Miami Lakes. Its fairly close to Ives dairy. I have actually tried looking for a place where people go and play smash to see if maybe expanding the people I play will help my game. Where do people play near Ives Dairy?

playing MK or not, has nothing to do with my opinion on the matter. I play ROB more than MK anyway and olimar.

Finch - showing me a video of shiz means nothing. no disrespect to shiz, who is the best FL melee player hands down. But falco never won any major tournament outside of FL which was considered bottom of melee community. even shiz himself couldn't win a tournament of top fox's marths etc. falco got top 5.. thats what he did.

wario sucks. sorry.

nothing will develop or change in the meta. game has no depth or technical merit. gotta take it for what it is. snake won't leave that top spot.

I think I should clear some things up about the Florida Community...

Pound 2:

Shiz - 7th
Speedn - 9th
XIF - 17th
Green Mario - 17th
QDVS and Rock Crock -somewhere in top 32 IIRC

Teams was Speedn and Viperboy at 2nd, qdvs and rockcrock at 7th, and then myself and green mario at 9th

FCD:

shiz - 7th
lambchops - 9th
speedn - 25th
colbol - 25th IIRC

teams was speedn and viperboy at 5th and myself and green mario at 9th, I think rock and qdvs made top 16 as well.

VLS:

Colbol - 9th
QDVS, myself, and Green mario made it to the 64 bracket
colbol and qdvs made like top 10 in teams as well.

Pound 3:

colbol - 9th
XIF - 25th

teams was myself and green mario at 9th, qdvs and colbol made top 16 IIRC.

just a handful of notable placings at tournaments over the past year or so in melee.

Florida was undoubtedly one of the top 5 states in the Nation for the last year. It certainly did better than pretty much every other SouthEast, and midwest State (although granted the midwest as a region is probably better than Flor........ wait now because shiz, speedn, and linguini basically steamrolled the midwest team for us at FCD). Naw but Midwest still has vidjo and darkrain and drephen, who are better than pretty much every Florida player... shiz and speedn could maybe beat them, but have already lost to them before.

But as states are concerned, FL is only rivaled/beaten by CA, NY, and TX. You can mention regions of course like MD/VA is better but now really thats two states not one

And Wario is pretty good, tournament placings elsewhere show this. You can argue but the facts say otherwise.
